Lovely!  You should have planned my wedding - maybe I wouldn't have ended up in flip flops.   Wink  Grin  Really though, I loved my flip flops.

Me, too, grrrlz.  I was planning on wearing some little flip-flop type sandals - with kitten heels, of course!  So, annie, you would have ended up in flip-flops, anyway.  I believe in comfort with style!

And thank you for the compliments.  It sort of helps to have no end date and lots of folks who are interested and have good opinions.  Makes me look beyond my own boundries.

Oh, the blue dress is for my DSS as bridesmaid,  I like how it goes with the ivory and pearls.  I haven't opened the dress bag for the gown yet - too much cat hair and beach dirt here.

Well, I'm pretty sure mine were the $5 Old Navy variety.  They went well with my jeans.  Wink  We ended up getting married at 8:30am on a Sunday in my aunt's living room.

I remember Annie's wedding! It was in the early days of CDI when were were just all getting to know each other. She was the most laid back bride I ever saw, and she moved house and graduated all in the same week. Awesome!

Ah2, I love that dress. The colour is going to be a nice backdrop for Li'l Bloo. Is that why you picked it, by any chance? Grin Get lots of pics with the bridesmaid's dress reflecting even more bloooo into that gorgeous stone!

It's amazing how I've been able to block that week from my memory!  Wink

AD - I keep coming back to the earrings!  They're beautiful!

Hey AH2 I`ve just found this thread ( that`ll teach me not to catch up more often  Undecided) and wow your dress, pearls and bridesmaid dress look lovely.
As for setting the date, well tell me about it ...
Same here, got the dress, got the accessories, got lots of other stuff but still no  wedding date. I`m trying to sell my house and won`t marry or move in with hubby to be, until it`s sold. I refuse to leave it empty and in the hands of an estate agent.
With the housing market as it is, I can see me being a VERY old bride ...
Your wedding ring looks gorgeous with Lil Bloo BTW.
Can`t wait to see what David is making for you  Grin and I`m sure it will knock our socks off !

Hi ladies!  hello  Thank you again, for all the lovely compliments. Flowers2

I can only empathize with your position Awestruck.  I was able to sell my house at a horrible loss, but that's one item off the list.  Now....trying to get Mom to come out for the wedding.  She won't leave Dad, who turns 99 next week, and has Alzheimers really badly, so that's our big holdup.  And don't worry about being an 'old' bride.  We're all beautiful on that special day, and nobody can see the wrinkles -  thewife  or they better fake it when I get married!

I'm not in a huge rush, tho.  I'm too old for anything other than grandbabies.  We've been together for more than 3 years now and combined everything from cellphone plans to medical insurance, so it's all more a formality.  But it seems important to both his parents and my Mom.

Oh, BTW, if I can't get everything I want built in time, can I borrow your constellation bracelet for the wedding, pretty please Lynne?  Evil  Srsly, I still think that it is just the cat's meow!  cat

AH2 just as long as we don`t marry on the same day then by all means you can borrow the bangle. You know what they say, something old, something new, something borrowed etc

omg  I just got a picture of my new clasp for DH's pearls - to go with my new pearl earrings!

Look at what D and the guys at the factory have done!  I think they've done a great job of building a clasp to match the earrings.  I love how they have been able to retain the individuality of each blossom and yet jazz them up with diamond leaves and pistils.  I do so hope we can get Sandra to model the completed piece, with earrings - before they all ship back to me.  Like Sparkly, I'd have to use duct tape to get the wrinkles out of my neck!  Roll Eyes

T, you could probably comment on the relative real size.  I know the gold of the earring blossoms is slightly under 20mm.  I'm not so good with D's fingers.

Is this like killer or what?

That looks so cool....how do they connect to the pearls? Is that an enhancer and it hooks on the front?  N1i'mconfusedHL

It is really nice in person....

the pearls will attach to the rings at the ends

In this shot you can see the clever hidden clasp.
Simply press the diamond to open it!

Me, too, DJM.  But I will wait patiently. angel  After all, there is absolutely no hurry on this project.  I'm rooting for Sandra to do the neck and ear shot with the pieces for me, otherwise there's a high probability that somebody might get turned to stone seeing my head shot.

That rather depends on whether you combed your serpents correctly or not. Grin And don't knock yourself; I remember the skiing pictures, and no-one got turned to stone by those!

Lovely clasp, and great idea to add in marquises (or navettes) for a bit of sparkle.
