Me, too, grrrlz.  I was planning on wearing some little flip-flop type sandals - with kitten heels, of course!  So, annie, you would have ended up in flip-flops, anyway.  I believe in comfort with style!

And thank you for the compliments.  It sort of helps to have no end date and lots of folks who are interested and have good opinions.  Makes me look beyond my own boundries.

Oh, the blue dress is for my DSS as bridesmaid,  I like how it goes with the ivory and pearls.  I haven't opened the dress bag for the gown yet - too much cat hair and beach dirt here.

I remember Annie's wedding! It was in the early days of CDI when were were just all getting to know each other. She was the most laid back bride I ever saw, and she moved house and graduated all in the same week. Awesome!

I can only empathize with your position Awestruck.  I was able to sell my house at a horrible loss, but that's one item off the list.  Now....trying to get Mom to come out for the wedding.  She won't leave Dad, who turns 99 next week, and has Alzheimers really badly, so that's our big holdup.  And don't worry about being an 'old' bride.  We're all beautiful on that special day, and nobody can see the wrinkles -    or they better fake it when I get married!

I'm not in a huge rush, tho.  I'm too old for anything other than grandbabies.  We've been together for more than 3 years now and combined everything from cellphone plans to medical insurance, so it's all more a formality.  But it seems important to both his parents and my Mom.

Oh, BTW, if I can't get everything I want built in time, can I borrow your constellation bracelet for the wedding, pretty please Lynne?    Srsly, I still think that it is just the cat's meow!

Me, too, DJM.  But I will wait patiently.   After all, there is absolutely no hurry on this project.  I'm rooting for Sandra to do the neck and ear shot with the pieces for me, otherwise there's a high probability that somebody might get turned to stone seeing my head shot.
