You know, this got me thinking.  If David was a dishonest dealer, like many we have all happened upon, he could easily have set this ring in a pink halo, knocked off a "certificate" by the "GEA" lab, and sold it to someone as a fancy pink for $40,000.  Kudos to our guy! hello2 notworthy

BTW, just took a walk in the rain to get the mail.  Verdict is . . . still pink!!!  OK, I may become obsessed with checking this ring out in different lighting. 

Do you think I may be right that the other moms were looking at me funny at pick up today when I was walking around staring at my hands???

FABULOUS PICS!!! First thing I did when I came home a few minutes ago was viewed your thread!!!!!!!!!!!

Gosh, I have LEARNED my lesson... Even if a diamond doesn't grab my fancy, LISTEN TO DAVID!!! First I didn't give DJ's stone (then unmounted) a chance... STRIKE ONE! Then this cushion, I liked it but wasn't sure... Low in behold it's FLIPPIN BEAUTIFUL!! STRIKE TWO!!!! I will learn!!!!

DH didn't see them until we got home from dinner at 11pm.  He was exhausted, so his precise quote was "Oh, nice"  and then CRASH (out cold - from exhaustion, not from the beauty).  We'll see what he thinks in the morning. . . coffee2

OK, you are going to have to bear with me, but I could not resist.  My husband got me some multicolored roses on Friday and well, I just couldn't let them go to waste!  Also, I started taking some pictures of my 2 ct rb studs because I am thinking of selling them to enable another purchase, and the black marble made such a nice background I decided to throw my rings into the mix too!
