So a little while ago the Big Brown Truck came to my house (okay, I flagged him down after he didn't bother to ring my doorbell LOL) and dropped off some lovely earrings.

They are simple and elegant.  I wear them daily and they match my usual jeans and knit shirts I wear as well as more formal occasions.

They are just shy of an inch in diameter and IIRC 1.9mm wide.  Combined they are .59ctw.  A perfect size I think.  I love them even more every day I wear them.

So here they are Smiley

They are super sparkly and very "white" in color.

I really love the diamonds on the inside of the hoop at this size

My husband took these two for me.  It shows how close the first two holes are.  I wear the studs and baby hoops all the time and only change out the first hole.

I love the look now, but it is a lot of metal in one ear.

Oh and I forgot to say that these hoops have a safety clasp that I love having.  They are very secure!

And the last as a joke....

that's my husband's wedding ring.  The inside diameter of his ring is larger than my earrings LOL

Grin as they say, size matters!

So you found the old charger, or did the new one arrive?

They look great with the other studs/hoops. Not too large, and not too small. Congratulations!

Thanks Jen & OMC!

I think David needs to carry ones like these in all sorts of sizes.  They really feel great too.

I know they get noticed because one of my friends said "Those are nice earrings!"  She looked a little longer and said "REALLY nice!"

The new charger arrived.  My husband can't remember what he did with the original.  Hopefully we'll find it soon, but I now have a spare battery at least too.

And I am happy that the sun came out so I could do these.  We're not supposed to see it for a while after today Sad

As for the size... I won't comment but he does have very nice big hands........... Wink

The inside out earrings DO get noticed, too.  One of my patients "warned" me that if I wasn't careful (around her), I might lose them.

You just inspired me to clean my hoops.  Grin I wear them everyday, and probably only clean them weekly or so. They were badly in need of a clean!

What she said.  And David found these for me since I wanted slightly more "narrow" due to the earring spacing issue.  If they get too wide it looks unbalanced in my ear IMO due to the other earrings I wear.  Though I can do wider in a huggie for some reason.

I actually was thinking of asking for a very small set of huggies with maybe one or so diamonds set in it just for travel.  You know ones I can sleep in and wear on rides w/o worrying about them.

But it was a bit sunny this morning and I got this shot.  I tried to do it with Sunny but it was too hard to focus on so much sparkle.  So I took my anniversary band and turned it a little.  Check out the fire.

And for fun, look at my "baby's" big hands.  It's a little loose on his pointer finger, but not a whole lot *eek*  Not the best shot of Sunny but 3 year olds move fast Wink

Would I be wrong in saying that he takes after his Dad? Grin

Nice pics. I can't remember if I posted this one earlier, but it seems to kind of fit in - apologies for the threadjack.

You would be so right to say that!!  When he was born we said his hands were "baby man hands"  They have always been huge.  So I have a feeling he'll be wearing a 13 or 14 like his dada.

That is such a cute picture there!  I haven't seen it before and I love it.  I wouldn't call it a threadjack either since I sort of did my own with my DS's hand Grin

Your "ear" jewelry look so nice.  Not too much or too little, just right.

Congrats on your new hoops, they are beautiful!

Now I want hoops.  However, I have a habit of losing earrings.

Pinky I don't think you could lose these too easily.  The button you press to open them is very secure feeling.  A nice loud click lets me know they are secure.
