I thought I would post a few pictures! I have a ring that David made or me as well as some made from stones I purchased from DBL. I just needed to see the diamond first before deciding what to do with it - then had it made local.
The first one is one that David made and it's 7 Stones - M color and about 18 pts a stone. It sparkles the most and its everyone's favorite. It's amazing how many people love they aren't colorless... they like the warm color and I think David may have a few orders from their husbands in the future
The second shot is the .5 ct cushion I got from David a month ago or so. Its shallow so it looks bigger. Its a VS2 FLY and I had the jeweler put a yellow gold plate under the stone and it sure looks yellow. More then then my FY Ring which was done all in white gold. I had asked for it to be matte but the jeweler left it shinny for now and i like it... .So maybe leave it for a while and make it matte later!
The third shot is the same ring.
The last shot is some rings I had made pre DBL. They are 7 princess cut FY stones about 1.4 ctw and the other skinny band is Fancy brownish pink stones. I think there are 21 in there. I was going to do a pink gold under lay on that band and I wish I had now (I was being cheap).
The yellow ring next time we take it in to be re-plated he suggested he plate it in yellow gold then buff it off so it only stays under the stones! That way this band should be the same if not more yellow then the above ring. Not sure what we can do with the pink stones for now?
