Yeah!  Tweety Bird  tweety  arrived this morning.
Wow!!  Is she ever a sparkly.  She is cool and she knows it.

Score-101010

Tweety sits really low on my finger which is a highly desirable attribute because of my bad habit of shoving my hand into my purse digging around for some must-have-item while driving the car at high rates of speed (mega lead foot). She is just the right size, definitely YELLOW, glamorous, eye catching, but not over-the-top-screaming,"Look at me!"
Thank you, David;   Thanx   I am truly pleased.

However, I am very unhappy with technical difficulties regarding hand shots:
  • Need to add camera driver to new computer running Windows Vista  Angry
Cannot locate USB cord needed to download pics from camera   icon_scratch
I am tired and cranky and not inclined to deal with these issues today.  Sorry folks, but that's just the way it is.  Man! I am really ticked angry8 with this computer stuff; I even got a manicure with bright red polish to hide the bruise on my right thumb nail.

Sally and her gang are in the door hissing;snakesnakesnake so I'll try to get shots on line tomorrow.

Eeek!  I'm so glad you love the ring Sparkly!  I knew you would, but still.   Smiley

I'm sorry about your computer troubles.  I haven't used Vista, or I would try to help you with driver issue.

Does your camera have a memory card that comes out that you can put directly into your computer?   My computer has several various size slots for different memory card types.

Awwwwwwwwww, Sparkly-OCD, you get extra credit from me for tyring. I'm sorry to hear your photo woes. There are several folks on this forum who routinely take amazing photos of their gems and jewelry, and they make it look easy.  I know better.  It is not!

yahoo

I'm so glad it worked!!  The photos turned out great Sparkly, and I think that Tweety looks right at home.  I love how low the ring sits, and the color is just fantastic.  I hope you're really enjoying it!

Thanks everyone.

This is very sweet ring; smaller than I had anticipated due David's closeup photos.  He gives the diamond specs, but not the overall specs.  Hence, I had pictured the halo and band being wider, thicker, and heavier.
But , Oh Gosh!  love1 I am so delighted!

Actually I think I'm in la-la land.  I haven't taken her off since she arrived; this ring is so comfortable.  I keep walking around the house staring at her.  I've never done that with any new piece of jewelry before, not even my ER.

This diamond is a true lemon yellow.  Absolutely stunning!

David, you have just created a DBL Junkie.  Kiss

I LOVE that ring. a fat intense pear is what I'd love to own. And the beading around it is such a fabulous detail. I am MAD with jealousy but happier for you than mad for sure. You lucky dog. You will stop traffic.

Today is bright and sunny so I gave it a try.  I could see flashes of color through the focus lens, but the camera didn't pick them up. I took around 20 shots, and these show the best sparkle, out of focus but sparklie.

Hmmm.....when I click on these cropped photos they enlarge.  Is that because I'm looking at them on my computer where the originals are stored or does the forum software do that?

The forum software does that when you click on an attached JPEG.

The sun really does a number on the stone, doesn't it?  Stunning color!

What a beautiful, rich, firey yellow color.  And, I'm not sure that I took much notice of the beading before... it is an exquisite detail.

Wait a second...a yellow pear with a bad attitude?  I don't know any of the sort.  She is a beauty.  Watch out for those yellow pears...they will get into all sorts of trouble.
