I enjoy wearing sterling silver jewelry, especially American Indian pieces with turquoise.
I'll start by posting some items in my collection.  In a few weeks, I'll post more.  I also love silver with red coral.

Here is my turquoise and sterling beaded necklace.

Close-up of large pendant I inherited from my mother.  The turquoise is gorgeous! It is Morenci turquoise with pyrite flecks.

Here is a full view.  It has a dangling feather design.

Some of my mother's bracelets

This one has variscite stones.

She bought this one in 1962 on a trip to the Southwest.

Geena, so pretty and unique!  I've never seen anything like these pieces.  What a great collection!

This rough-hewn bracelet belonged to my friend's mother.  The turquoise is gorgeous.  She had bought it on the Navajo Reservation in the 1950's.

Necklace I found at a flea market and a bracelet with an unusually large piece of coral.

Stunning pieces Geena1.  I have a few Native American and sterling pieces that I've collected during some visits to Arizona and New Mexico; I'll try to post another time. There was a time when I knew all the characteristics of the different turquoise mines, but I've forgotten now. I'm afraid that I have nothing of the caliber you're showing... kudos on a great collection!  tongue3

Thanks, Madora.  Smiley

Here is a favorite Zuni bracelet with mother-of-pearl and turquoise.

Two bracelets.  The one with the row of small stones was made by a non-Indian woman who is a master of American Indian silverwork.

My mother's squash blossom necklace.  It is very heavy to wear, so it sits in storage mainly.

These belonged to my mother.  They are made by a very famous deceased artist named Charles Loloma.  There's some gold in them along with the silver.

I bought these two things at a shop called 'White Buffalo' in Truckee, California.  I always carry this spoon in my purse.  It comes in handy for eating yogurt in the car, and it saves a lot of plastic spoons from being used when I eat on the fly.  I also carry a miniature fork for the same reason.  My husband does have a point when he says my purse is too heavy and has too many things in it.  But, he's asked to use the spoon and fork.  laugh

Thanks, BigRed.  Yes, it was another great find.  I need to go back to that shop.  They acquired a huge amount of vintage Native American jewelry from an estate, and I picked this one out.  They have so much from that estate that most was still packed up in boxes.  I was frustrated, because I really wanted to see it all.

Here is a beautiful inlaid bolo tie from my father and two chunky bracelets from my mother--turquoise and shell inlay.

I am speechless what a collection.  I love it.  I tried to find a favourite and I couldnīt,  they are all so beautiful.  I especially like your favourite bracelet Geena it is really lovely.  I love the combination of coral with the blue and silver too.  It reminds me of the jewellery I saw in Cairo Museum, whereas the gems were lapis and carnelian but the same lovely colour combination.
You say you have even more!  Bring them on they are a joy to see.

I have had another look (and I will be looking often for sure) and I have decided on my absolute favourite, difficult but it kept calling to me.  The beautiful morenci turquoise pendant that belonged to your mother.  I can see you have inherited good taste from her.  Beautiful things.  The mix with gold by the artist Charles Loloma (to be looked up at leisure).  That collection is piece of history and beautiful as well.
