yesss!!!  maybe share some recipes...  usually guys are the ones who experiment with recipes...  i know i usually tend to deviate from a "fixed" recipe...  Cheesy

Ha Ha! I know that one! My DH tries to experiment with recipes...usually to a detriment to the final product! He once tried to put cinnamon in seviche!!  tongue2

You guys are making me hungry now!  Gosh, I could only dream that my DH would appreciate diamonds and cook too!  You guys are going to make your ladies real happy! (not that I am not!)

Ace...the ring is going to be incredible if it turns out as nice as the pic you posted!  YOu mentioned bezel set...but it is not Bezel set in the picture you posted.   Hmmmm  you may want to reconsider not bezel setting it.   Also, milgrain detail appears to be absolutely gorgeous if it is done correctly.  I have seen it done in a veery bad way so make sure that it is what you want.  Snoopers turned out wonderfully!    I can't wait to see the finished ering!   ~Ronda

Gee - too much going on at CDI.  I searched but couldn't find the thread    dontknow  where you described the ring you are making for your fiance.  First of all, congratulations on your engagement (or soon to be engagement if you haven't already proposed) and could I ask for details (or link me to the page where you already did?!)

Anyway, your RA (even from the culet side) looks spectacular.  I'm rather fond of asschers, in case it wasn't obvious, lol!  I love millegrain, but I also love antique jewelry.  Millegrain or not, that ring will be wonderful.  Can't wait to see it finished!

Ace that is going to be a stunner!  I almost think that I would say no to the mil.  But, I am sure that either way you go it will be beautiful.

And, too cool that you and Gemelli both love to cook!  My DH tries, but just doesn't quite ever get it right.  I think that it is a lack of confidence and that he doesn't follow directions Wink

And, I too cannot back to save my life!  I never was too good at chemistry  Tongue

Ace, that ring will be amazing. The pink melee are lovely and the stone - what can I say? It's to die for.

I would come down on the no milgrain side, because I think asschers suit a sleek, clean look (although having seen some with milgrain, I'm prepared to accept I might be wrong!). I suppose it's what that particular stone tells you! Does it want milgrain, if you know what I mean?

I knew you'd come up with something good, but I actually gasped out loud when I saw that photo!

Well done so far!
