Sadly, not from DBL, but PURTY just the same!   Grin

First up is my natural jasper pendant in sterling silver on a tan leather braid necklace. Oh my gosh, this one is HUGE!!  I wore it out shopping this afternoon for the first time and got no less than six compliments on it. TWO were from men salesmen!LOL

THis is as long as it gets. But it has an open chain area in the back and I can shorten it to be more like a choker - which is really cute too.

Next is my WAY cool Stainless Steel and 14kt YG nails head bracelet. I saw this in an unusual jewelry store and simply had to have it!  The black looks like a fabric but it is black twisted steel wires.  The "segments" move freely from the horsebit type links with the gold nail heads.  OMG I LOVE this!! They removed a link for me right there (it was a watch place) and I think it's just DA bomb!  Grin

And last, but not least is a chunky (but smoooooth) polished turquoise necklace. Also in sterling. All natural turquoise.  I haven't worn this one yet, but I love all the blues and greens and all the matrix (sp?) in it!

Really love the bracelet!! As for the pendant? It looks like a polished rock, but very cool! I'm not familiar with jasper... The Turquoise is fab! You always find such great pieces Rhonda!! It'd look great with a white blouse!!  bliss

Thanks!

Snooper, Jasper is a big ol rock! LOL  I think it will look good on a much longer chunky chain worn over a thick sweater this winter.

Oh Wow!! I LOVE those necklaces!! I have lots of jasper and turquoise, I'll have to share some photos soon.

My favorite jasper is Bruneau. It's only found in one place (Bruneau Canyon Idaho) and it's no longer mined so prices on it are jumping through the roof! I love the orbs and colors in it. It was apparently formed by mud dripping into gas pockets in molten lava, becoming super-heated and then solidifying into the swirl-patterns.

I also love picture jasper and have a few pieces of it. It's so neat how they can look like desert landscapes.

Mindi those stones are fabulous.  I have to do some searching around.  My son has a rock collection with some regular jasper and I am sure he would love something like those!

Snooper...the few that I have [sadly, that gorgeous collection of Bruneau is not mine Sad] I've purchased at rock/gem shows and art fairs. DH is getting his rock shop set up slowly and he has some uncut pieces that he will be cabbing but we're moving slowly. We are taking a metalsmithing class next month and I plan to take one of my loose cabs of Bruneau to make into a piece, maybe a pendant..

Oh how cool Mind!  That would be fun to do!

RHONDA... I think you have created a monster!    What lovely new pieces!
The bracelet is perfect for wearing while riding on your DH's Harley!!   Hey, a girl has to have the perfect accesories for ALL occasions, right?

I just love wearing big "chunky" stones that have the Fall colors for the season!

Thanks gals!  I couldn't believe the wonderful workmanship on this piece!  It is handmade with freshwater pearls, jasper, and sterling silver.    I will take a few pics of my own to try and capture the details!     Smiley
