I love your butterfly collection.  What a wonderful idea to have a jewellery theme.  I especially love the butterflies with coloured gems but then all your butterflies are gorgeous.
Now I want your opinion as a butterfly expert.   I have this art deco diamond and platinum brooch and I always thought it was a leaf but someone once remarked that it looked more like a stylised butterfly.
I am sorry the pic isnīt that good but perhaps you would give your opinion.

Joia, I'm afraid that I'm going to say butterfly as well.  I love the airy, harp-like quality of the wing... Best of all, I really like it because we're not QUITE sure; it's fun to interpret.

I'm sorry, BUT, I just have to mention this.  It just throws me every time I look down the CDI coverpage (or whatever you call it) and I see the abbreviated title for this thread, "A collection of Butt..."  dontknow HUH?

Well that settles it, my brooch is officially proclaimed a butterfly.
I am sure both of us are very pleased about it.  Leaves are nice but butterflies are supreme.

this is one of the rings i wear nearly everyday for work and so on


this is another ring that i got to wear everyday  Wink
