Hey, wait a minute... "need more browns?"  DJ, you're the one who started this whole brownfest!  Yup, ALL of your browns, are to die for.  And, I TOTALLY agree about the other two rings you mentioned – DJM knows that I LOVE his wife's beauty, it is the piece that inspired me for the SDI ring-design challenge.  And, PL's ring... what can one say.  It is HEAVEN.  I mop the drool off my keyboard everytime I see the photo. At least, now, I figure that I have the junior-inside-out version of PL's classic beauty!  Roll Eyes

Wow, Trinkette, what a beauty. Those warm browns look like caramel sunshine with a sparkling raindrop in the middle. Gorgeous design.

Phooey.  Unless it was posted on this thread earlier, I don't have the measurements of the browns.  Maybe David has them?  They are fancy intense brown and their total weight is 1.32 carats.  One of the reasons I chose the Glarkler is because it faces up big for its weight.  At 1.07 carats, it measures a generous 6.84 x 6.00 x 3.75.

As far as the setting goes, David and I were quite conscious of how this RHR would look opposite my 2.12 carat ER on my opposite hand.  Because this is meant to be a RHR, and NOT an ER, we decided to give it a lower profile setting and more of a "band" look.  I admit, I was worried that when finished, the platinum and rose gold band would look too plain. WRONG.  The band does EXACTLY what we wanted it to... it keeps a low profile, both physically and visually, and lets the diamonds be center stage.  You really don't notice the metals at all (and when you look closely, the rose gold is beautiful).  I am VERY finicky, and the setting work is exquisite; a classic combination of feeling weighty and balanced while allowing the overall impression to be light and elegant.
Hey Everybody,
First, let me say...WOW- what AWESOME photos Trinkette!

Here's our records on the sides...

AMAZING Trinkette!!  I'm glad I was blissfully unaware of this thread all day at work, or I would have been dying waiting for the close up shots, lol.

I'm sorry to hear about your camera, but your pieced together one really did the trick!  I love how it looks so different all the time.

Just wow.

Wait...who is always selling cows to pay for diamonds?  If it is Trinkette then she can call it How Now Brown Cow.  I personally like anything related to cows, so I like the name.
