This is for you, Jen, because you asked so nicely.  Grin

Around November, I purchased the E-W oval ring, R2034.  I have wanted that ring since I first saw it.

Since then, I have been waiting for a matching Y-Z diamond, larger than a carat, that I could afford.  Around January 9th, David looked at a couple of parcels of yellows, and four-one carat plus stones; remember?  A square, two rectangles and a heart.  The heart measured 6.90 x6.61mm., was a Y-Z, and I bought it.

David is going to set it in a pendant, matching the micro set of the E-W ring.  The finished product should look like WMs heart earrings.

I have a pair of DBL white gold earring jackets, and round yellow sapphires.  When I find 3.0-3.5 round FIY diamond for studs, I'll have a complete matched set.

Oh wow! I love WMs earrings and funnily enough, I always thought that style would make an AWESOME pendant.
Fantastic. I can't wait to see this, it's going to be really special. Oh, I have heart envy!

3.5cttw studs? Well, they will be spectacular! I believe it's harder to find FIY RBs though - could take a while? It will be well worth the wait because they will be, just, wow.
I love that look. There is a lady who goes to our church who has the most amazing yellow RBs in tiny, delicate little white halos. They are lovely. She has fabulous diamonds and I always try to sit near her to get a good look. (I know, not very spiritual, is it?!) In my defence, her OEC studs have to be seen to be believed. laugh They must be about 3cttw too. They're on fire!

LOL 3 - 3.5mm makes more sense to me for earrings! 3.5cttw would be stunning but perhaps not everyday wear. Oscars, maybe? I know some people can pull it off, but I don't think I could.

I had asked David for a hidden bail because I didn't want anything to distort the heart shape, and I sent him another heart pendant that had a hidden bail as an example.

My second request was to allow me to wear the Y-Z Heart Halo with various chains.

I have to tell you- I loved the way this came out- in this setting the stone looks like an intense yellow....and it's graded Y-Z by GIA!!

Fabulous, just fabulous!  I've got hearts-in-a-halo earrings and necklace (colorless) and I wear them all the time.  You won't want to ever take your new necklace off.  What a wonderful job DBL did in getting that yellow to shine.  Congratulations!

Thank you for all of your compliments!  I will try to get some neck shots later with a couple of different chains.  (hmmm...maybe I could sit in front of a tripod...maybe the dog could model the necklace?  Lucy is much cuter than I am....)

Oh!  It is beautiful!!  I have a yellow heart pendant from DBL, but not in a halo.  Love this idea for it for the future!!!  Gorgeous!!  But now you need a matching ring and earrings....
