Ok, I posted this in another area, but when I click on the links to view a movie, and hit "OK", the "OK" button is white and I'm not able to click on it.  I just now figured out I had to click on it 2-3x and then the "OK" button was highlighted so I could view the movies.

It could be on my end??? I use Firefox and have the latest update....

I have a newer laptop with Windows and the Internet Explorer v7.0 and I can view the movies with one click.

It automatically opens the windows media viewer program right after I click the text link just once.

So far, so good on this end.

I am cruising with Firefox today, the latest version as well. You have to check the box to set it to default. It took a couple of tries but it did load. That will be the issue with the browsers. Lots won't load it because of a plug in or a lack of link to a plug in.

IE7 is going to work smoothly because .wmv is a microsoft product.

Well, I figured out the only way to get it to load in Firefox is to click it once, x it and click again. Weird. I don't know if there is something in internet options you can do. But the "ok" button was activated the second time around.

I also noticed that when using the most recent version of Firefox at one of my computer labs at school.  I found it quite odd....  I have an older version on my computer at home though, and it only takes me one click.

I bet it can be resolved in options. I have the older version and it worked fine but I just upgraded myself and had to click twice.

Videos are like that. Not everyone can see them and it usually has to do with a plug in, a browser, or the type of file.

Hmmm interesting.  I have problems w/ the IE7 as it boots me off after 5 minutes!!! Or if I close IE7 I get this weird error and I shut that box down.  I really should WRITE what the errors are.

But with Firefox, even the latest upgrade, weird...  I figured out that if I hit the OK (although not clickable) once, it then shows up so I can view movies:) So for you Firefox users, just click click click!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to remedy the issue in Firefox. No go. Prior to this edition I had to stop using it because it would lose the style sheet of any website after about 15 minutes. I just keep clicking. I'll see if I can embed a screen on this site or the website. Stay tuned.....

IE7 has brought along some issues as well. It has EXTRA security for my own benefit that I'd rather not have at all. But I could not even download it until I updated SP2. That took almost four hours.

But to troubleshoot I have to have as many browsers as possible. I'm using Mozilla right now.

Who can see this and who can't? You need to hit the play button.

Yeah, but it must take some power because it's freezing up sometimes. I tried loading youtube but no success with that so far.

Thanks Annie1. I think the links David is putting in works the best so far. This thread is so sluggish when I open it. I might have to remove the embed.

You got a MAC! I would love a MAC. But I can't get IE with a Mac and I have to have that to troubleshoot. I am so jealous.

Thanks for letting me know by the way. It's nice to know someone on the forum with a MAC so I can ask you questions.

Sorry WebGal - no Mac for me.  I just was using one for an hour or so, and I decided to see if I could get the movies to work.  I have friends who swear by them, but I've never had one.

I use Windows on my computer and Linux on my fiance's.
