I've noticed a network slowdown overall. What I mean is so many forums are slow. Which is weird. It's not been slow for me today. But I'm sure it's just got so much stuff. Still looking into it.

The site seems a bit faster today but is still a bit slow when I`m posting WM. How`s it for everybody else ?

What I do, is sign on CDI, go to the "unread posts" and always hold the cntrl button and open up the threads I want to read first.  Normally it's BAM.

But still for the past 2 weeks and just now? Took about 40 seconds to load all the windows instead of the usual 5...

It's a worm hole in space. We fell in it.

I am having tech support drop in some disk space and a ticket to tech support regarding old posts. We are dedicated to preserving the photos and threads. If it takes getting a bigger space in space, we will.

I would download the accelerator today but the site that has it is down. I'll get it and install it as soon as it's available to do so. I might have to close the CDI shop for 15 minutes or so but you'll have a warning if I need to do that.

Okay, I finally got to the bottom of this. Another on this server is competing for resources. Probably the same sports illustrated writer who we have competed with before. So they are migrating us to one that is less busy and should be faster.

There shouldn't be any downtime but if there is, you know why. And as a precaution, I'm going to go make a backup now. I don't know the date yet. I'm trying to find that out. But it should be soon.

You have the most amenable cats! I saw DH pick ours up this morning to pet it. Cat was stunned into submission for a moment, and actually purred before remembering to apply claws to flesh!

I`ve only ever owned one cat and she would have clawed me to shreds if I`d tried dressing her.
We used to have a cat at work called Blue ( he disappeared last year ) and he was so used to living amongst 67 residents and also the staff and being constantly petted, he`d allow you to do anything and I mean anything.
The men used to dress him up regularly and Blue seemed to love it. He was more human than cat.
