I don`t know what`s happened to my settings but I can`t seem to message anybody at all and on the home page where it shows who`se online at the bottom whenever I click on a name to message them it says I can`t see their profile and can`t message them ?

Hey Awestruck,

I just had DH log in so I could check what the members can and can't do. 

We've been changing some things on the site and are still working it all out.  If you need to PM somone, you can still do that in the threads.  Find where they have posted and click the PM link under their avatar - that should work just fine. 

I'll let WM know what's going on.

Hello my lovely Annie. I`m chilling nicely here and even though I`m supposed to be catching up with grocery shopping and domestic chores, I have the ability to look at my house through rose tinted spectacles and pretend the domestic mayhem doesn`t exist. It`s a knack I`ve acquired in recent years lol  Grin
I`ve worked my socks off recently and for an old ( -ish ) gal like me it takes it`s toll so today I`m having takeaway, a lazy night in front of the TV, a long soak in the bath and hopefully an uninterrupted night`s sleep unless Jen goes into labour and I receive a text saying " get this baby outta here NOW ! ".
And hows you Annie and your lovely hubby ? One of the nicest, happiest looking couples I`ve ever seen BTW.

Your night sounds perfect!  The one thing I don't like about my apartment is the lack of a bath tub.  A warm bath sounds so nice right now.

The hubby and I are doing well.  Tom will be leaving for a three month internship  in two weeks, so we're probably going to have to start getting his things ready.  I'm sad to see him go, but it's a good opportunity, and he'll be able to stay here until after our anniversary, which is what I wanted.

Our main plans for today are to pick up the cat's new asthma medicine and go to the grocery store, lol.  We're not that exciting.

Haven`t a clue but it sure sparkles prettily  Grin
In layman`s terms it`s multicoloured glass which is kind of like stained glass windows. How it`s made I haven`t a clue Mikla Huh?
Whenever i move my wrist the bracelet sparkles umpteen different colours.
I`m afraid I flunked physics at school but in my day the boys did the sciences and we girls were expected to learn knitting and sewing, I was rubbish at both. I began knitting a jacket for my first baby and still haven`t finished it and he`s 33 now !

Noone can see who's online now. Not your fault but I had to disable it for all for now because of a technical issue.

As far as PMs, I'll look into it. I don't know what's up with that.

WM is trying to sort out my problems but she`d like to know if anybody else is having the same problem ?
If I try clicking on a name from the posts to send them a PM it tells me there`s an error. If anybody else is having trouble then will you please let WM know about it ?

It's used a lot in costume jewellery but can be quite expensive and comes in a range of really beautiful colours.

It's because right now you don't have access to profiles at all.  If you need to PM in the meantime, click on the small green scroll looking icon under the avatar of the person you want to PM.  That should work fine and I am sure WM will have it all figured out soon.

Thanks for the link CS. I`ve had the bracelet a while and always wondered how the magical colour change effect was made. It shows from deep red to purple, gold, silver, black, orange and bright yellow and changes colour whenever you move your wrist. I can sit watching it for hours. Sadly my photography skills do it little justice.
It`s by a Mexican silversmith Tianguis Jackson and I love it.

It`s a very heavy bracelet and not at all fragile, the glass is really thick and so is the silver. I wear it almost everyday because it seems to reflect the colour of whatever clothes I`m wearing. It looks terrific with a white shirt or a black jumper or anything really.
I actually found the bracelet in Scotland Jen. I`ve never seen his stuff sold locally. The pendant and earrings are what I`ve tracked down on the internet.

Oh! Where exactly in Scotland, if you don't mind sharing? I've never seen anything quite like that in real life. I would not say no to a bracelet. Although it would need to be fairly robust - I'm not as delicate as I could be with pretty things.
