I love watching the diamond movies, and was thinking, why not put them to music?  Different style music, for different style rings.  Some are so "classical", some are like "we will rock you"!

I think David has actually had music in one of them. But some people are looking at work and don't want others in the office to know they are doing "non office" things on their computer. And musical You Tube would certainly tip off the boss.

Agree with the no music - it interrupts my internet radio at work. Wink

BUT - a montage of a number of DBL's diamonds set to music?  That'd be a sweet little promotional piece!

Now that we could do. But I gotta leave that task to David, the diamond handler, diamond picker outer and music man.

Funny thing we're talking abou thtis- recently I did actually consider having some music on a movie- but I'd need to ask Diana Krall's permission....

I think Diana's "The Look of Love" would be a nice selection Smiley

Copyright laws on music are strict even on You Tube. I remember wanting music for a commercial one time. For a half mill I could have the song I wanted even though it was from the 40s. So I had original music created instead.

I guess I naturally defaulted to thinking of music David created on pedal steel guitar. You can't "borrow" just any song you want to put on a promotional video or commercial.

Ah ha!  I know where you can get music without copyright!  My DH can play his fiddle for ya----  boohoo , or his guitar  git   The only thing is, I think it would scare customers away instead of enhance the beauty of the diamond...YIKES! It is truly a "hair raising experience"!
