I saw the thread below asking if there was a layaway plan and that was from a few years ago.  Who has used it and what are the standard terms?  Thanks so much!

Hello Dot, welcome!

I can't answer the specific question, but David has been quite flexible with me (and I think others) in accommodating things. He is the best person to answer how it would work! david

Thanks omc!!!

Dot, here's the published layaway plan

Quote
LAYAWAY TERMS

If you’d like to spread the cost of an item in our inventory, we’d be pleased to offer layaway terms. Please contact us to arrange this service. The terms are:

•    A 50% down payment is required to initiate a layaway
•   Pay the balance within six months, making at least one payment per month
•   When the balance is paid, we’ll contact you to arrange shipping.
•   Layaway items will attract a 10% re-stocking fee in the event of a return (some custom work is excluded from the return policy, please see above
•   If you cancel the layaway plan at any time, we will return all money paid to us, less a 10% restocking fee

When folks need less than two weeks, we can hold the item with a deposit of 10%

I went MIA for a while and never got to thank either of you for your prompt answers to my question.
Thank you!

Meanwhile my husband, wonderful man that is, had been saving the cash to buy my ring outright!

Thank you again!  I will save this info for any future purchases we may want to make.

You are most welcome. Now, can we see a picture of your new ring, please?  Smiley

Haha,
Oh OMC, As soon as I decide on one I will be happy to share it with you!  Over in the introduce yourself area there is a thread about this and how I think I will never be able to pick one out.

I'll take that as a promise, then...

BTW - apologies; I have the bad habit of reading unread posts from least recent to most recent and replying as I go, with the result that I end up missing some of the history the first time around.

No apologies necessary.  I'm always late to the party.

I'll keep everyone updated over there, when and if I can ever possibly decide on anything.

We'll help. We love enabling. Grin

I have seen your options listed on the other thread; it's after midnight over here, and I'm not even thinking straight, so I'll postpone any helpful or not so helpful comments until tomorrow, but they will come...

Oh my well don't stay up too late.  Sleep is one of my favorite past times.
And please by all means, enable away.  Once you are rested of course.
