Ok David go have a search around your office and throw us a nice new piece of bling we haven`t seen before or a huge rock so we can dream about it, imagine how we`d set it or wear it or wish we could afford it.

Alright!  I'll pick up that gauntlet

Let's play a little game, then, shall we?
Assume this diamond is about 1 carat.
What's the color?
What's the price?

Nice find!  Grin

I'd have to say it might have brown, but it's such a rich color it's gotta be above the 20K range.

I'll go for Fancy Deep Brownish Pink too - OK  I take that 70K thing back - I bet it is around 20K.

Interesting disparity.

ace is very perceptiive in that anytime there's any pink in a diamond, $20,000 is likely to be sales tax.

But there is no "red" on the GIA grade for this one- otherwise ace's guess would be pretty close.
In this case, he's gone a bit over the top.....

OH man!!!

before I read others' replies, I would say it's a fancy brownish orange with pink of some sort? Yeah, that color won't be on a GIA report, but that's what my eyes see!

seriously it looks red to me!  Grin

let me take a second guess...  i just can't seem to see brown in there...  maybe it is a Fancy Intense Orangy Pink for around 50k-60k tag...  whatever the color is it's gotta be at least 50k...  the hue and saturation are amazing!  Shocked

Hmm.  I was basing my price tag on the 1.01 fancy light orangy pink David has now.  That one is just around $20K, and I figured this has more color, if there is brown it would take the price tag down more than orange would. Um, $40,000?

To my eye there appears to have some blue in it--almost a dusky red-violet color.
I'm saying 68K

 omg  That stone is spectacular.

It looks like the color of some grapefruit or perhaps even salmon.  I'm guessing around $85k.

We`ve had every colour combination and I`d say no differently either. I see brown/orange/pink and sparks of red in there.
Fabulous looking diamond.
As for it`s cost, umm $45k ? No doubt I`ll be wayyyyyyy out ...
Imagine what you could do with a stone such as that, a real treat.
Yep it also reminds me of those " Blush " grapefruits you can buy.
I wish  had the problem of wondering how to set it  Roll Eyes

Interesting...

I think you left off a zero.
A nice-looking fancy intense pink one carat diamond can't be anything less than $150,000 or so.  Of course for these prices we're talking GIA graded.

Did anyone guess correctly on the color yet?  The problem guessing price is we have no idea what the clarity is.   I am sticking with Fancy Deep Brownish Pink or Fancy Deep Pinkish Brown.  Probably the latter.
