Actually, I think that centre stone is to die for. Regardless of sides. It would look good mounted in tin and flanked by two random pebbles.

In case you all missed my posts about this stone on another thread... I saw this Asscher in person, and it is a magnificent, superb, excruciatingly gorgeous and unusual diamond. This is the kind of diamond that you would never tire looking at. I had to see it to believe it. And, I AM a believer.

Seriously, the polish and what I call crystal on this diamond are superb.  Aside from the stunning color(s), that is what I remember most about this diamond... the clear, smooth finish and the way you could look right through it as if it were the finest, sharpest crystal. I can't begin to describe how "clean" and "crisp" this diamond is in person. Really sensational.

The stone happened to fit perfectly into a ring we'd made for a stone that sold loose....
