Sorry! But I couldn't resist! It was an easy sell. Not sure how to set it... Any ideas? FD
Would you think about putting it in a pendant for me? Fondest regards, Your attentive, gift-worthy client services rep... No? Oh well, how about a pink halo? That's what I would have done with it had it been mine. Sigh. Sigh again. Congrats on snagging SUCH a beautiful diamond - this one is particularly lovely and I admire it very much indeed.

Flying diamonds...I'm so happy for you! It will look stunning no matter how you set her. What's your pleasure these days? Do you like the simple elegance and sleek look of the tension set stone, flush to the band as in R4162 ? (I think that's what I'd love to see her in...) or can you see her surrounded by a white halo? That would look lovely too! This is what my heart was going for with this stone. It gave me pause since I still want to do something with that little marquise of mine though in a similar manner LOL Really you have a gorgeous stone! I hope you can decide what you want soon. I'll love to see this one set! I was thinking I would set it the exact same way!! Congrats FD!!!

Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without

For a setting... What about something like this: ? If you could have it made with channel set princess stones (maybe sapphires in an unusual color?), I think the frame would really show off the diamond to its best advantage. Nice catch!

"I will put the diamond chain round your neck, and the circlet on your forehead, which it will become: for Nature...has stamped her patent of nobility on this brow, Jane; and I will clasp the bracelets on these fine wrists, and load these fairy-like fingers with rings." ~ Edward Rochester, Jane Eyre
