I love that ring, too.  Lucky for my checking account, I couldn't purchase the ring.  It is the "little sister" to my literal older sister's re-worked engagement ring, although hers is yellow gold.  Obviously, my sister would not, in this case, appreciate the "imitation," even if I tried to pass it off as "the sincerest form of flattery."  But some lady is going to love that ring -- after years of seeing my sister's, I still love it.  Very classy, classic, elegant.  And David's/Sam's version didn't even do such serious damage to anyone's bank account.  Recoverable damage.  Nicely played, lucky lady!!

But Remember...these were just put in front of you for you to get an idea of what you like and what you don't like for when you are ready to commit!  So it's all good!

Le sigh.  Of course, you are right.  (crosses fingers for good luck re: diamond purchases)

Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without

I'm on pins and needles, y'all -- if all goes according to plan, we'll have the ring in ... er ... I mean ON hand by mid-March.  I'm just so excited and eager to see it, I can barely sit still.   4
Any chance we could see a picture of the finished product here before it gets shipped?  N1Please2HL1 Smiley

Definitely, LC!  Even though Sweet Pea is not one of the uber-big rocks, our plan is to have it set in this "uber" semi-mount in platinum with full-cuts:

David indicated he could use green gold for the prongs and skirting underneath to bring out as much of the green as possible, which is going to be really unusual and thus even more special.  (Kinda makes me wish there was such a thing as *blue* gold that could bring out the aqua.)    Wink

As if the waiting wasn't hard enough, Darling Fiance is insisting that he surprise me with it somehow, which is so sweet of him.  love7

I just made him promise I wouldn't have to wait beyond mid-March as I'm not sure I could stand it!    waiting  Wink
