Hi Everyone!
We picked up some really cool stones yesterday.
First up- a super unusual kind of....pear old mine brilliant...

Here- have a look






Yoram told us he purposefully was going for a "wonky" outline- so it looks like an authentic old stone.
But when we turn it over- you can see the modern precision

It's a pretty stone, but a little too asymmetrical for me...
Love the big old flashes of color it gives off.
What I really want is a DBL Branded Cushion!  Smiley

No question, the modified pear is a polarizing type stone- I'm sure other people will share your sentiment DAF-
In fact, at first, I had a hard time wrapping my mind about this type of shape- I'd seen them before.

This one changed my mind....at least enough to buy it to make a ring for it- it also looks large for it's weight...
I can't wait to see the ring

Just the other day someone was asking about a super cool 2 something ct cushion with a slight greenish tint....they'd seen it on youtube...

David, I have a question. How do these Old Mine Brilliants differ in cut from your DBL Branded Stones? To my eye they have a very similar look, but then again, I´m just adminiring them for their beauty and don´t know a thing about the way they´re cut....

Maybe a side by side shot to show me the differences? Thank you! :-)

The pear reminds me of my pawn shop pal's OMC wedding set. Her center stone is slightly Pear shaped, just not very pointy on the end.

I have to admit this one is much prettier though.  heart2
