I admit, if someone were to show me one of these photos out of context, I don't think that I could identify what the stone is. I must do better...

Yes, but another factor at play is the quality of irradiated diamonds = which can vary greatly based on the quality of the stone they started with.
If Crud is going into the reactor, different colored crud coming out.

Since most of the places selling irradiated stones are more prone to carry cruddy goods, that what most of them carry.

We happen to know of one dealer that takes greater chances by irradiating stones of higher colors. clarity, and better cut.
The reason it's a gamble is that sometimes the results are not nearly as nice......

I do really like the green round in color, but not so much the blues.  Reminds me of a highlighter   But they are far better looking than many of the ones I have seen in person and even on the internet. 

I think while I appreciate these for what they are, it kind of solidfies how I like natural hues better.
