A big fat YAY.  Are you kidding me?

That color is gorgeous--not something you see every day.

Can you imagine what Sandra and the Uber factory can do with that baby?

I'm not sure. It doesn't grab me. Is it a lively stone? I can't imagine it's easy capturing the personality of a diamond like this in a couple of photos. Maybe a movie would help?

She said what I was thinking.  I love purple diamonds but this one really didn't stand out to me either in a totally fantastic way.  If it is a very lively stone then I would say stock it, but these photos really don't do as much for me.

I'll give it a Yea.  Although I'm more partial to pink, this really is a nice color.  Would love it see it in motion.

I love the two pics with the light hitting it - I second the call for seeing it in motion.

Of course I wouldnīt say no to it as a present, but itīs not something I would pick for myself... Iīd say Nay.

I agree, the top picture not the best of it but otherwise a beautiful little gem!  Sometimes the small unique ones are the way to go!
A big YAY for me!

It is a great color for sure. It looks like this one but I guess it's less expensive for sure.

The problem with conversations on the internet, as opposed to face to face, is that subtle meaning can be lost. Small, non verbal cues that help you understand what people mean are missing, so things can get very ambiguous.

Can anyone help me out here....does Trinkette like this diamond?

I'm actually still undecided on the stone.  I looked at this earlier on my tablet and now on my hd laptop... not a bad stone but it isn't pulling me in the way purple ones usually do  Huh?

I totally love the color of this stone.  Totally.  It's just that the only setting I can think of involves some sort of halo, and I think I've done that enough already.  What ideas do you have for setting this purple beauty?

Make it the center stone in a platinum or platinum and rose gold cluster-style ring with high whites. Or, maybe try high whites and pinks around the lavender lassie...

Or, design an Edwardian-style ring with three- diamonds in the head, maybe Miss Lavender flanked by two colorless half-moons (or yellows), surrounded by platinum and the rest of the ring below with filigree done in gold with a gold shank. The overall shape looking down on the ring from above would be a long, E to W oval...
