GL- that's a gorgeous ring- and an interesting idea....although the that stone was probably a lot more money- Leon's settings are beautiful, but very dear.....

Thanks guys!  The color on this stone is very strong and is just the perfect color for me!  The stone is pretty small, only about 1ct, and it was under $100.  Even though it was pretty inexpensive I love it so much I feel it deserves an awesome setting.  I would love to set it with some lighter colored yellow sidestones, the shape and size TBD by whatever David thinks would be best that would fit in my budget.  I'll know more when I have enough money saved up.  I'll give it it's own thread when I get there!

And the ruby, oh, such a nice one.
And that pinky purple sapphire,
as long as there isn't a blue spinel.....

Now I have, but the link seems screwed up (at least, from behind a firewall is screwed up). Nice colour, in the darker shade of African emeralds, and the cut is beyond reproach; from behind the firewall all I get is the little picture on the top of the page, but it seems truly beautiful. Price?

That is one beautiful emerald. It's so rare to see a really fine emerald and this one is stunning!

I'd love to see that in one of the new style halo rings, with delicate little claws. Glorious!
