My birthstone is a topaz and I have always disliked those. Trust David to find oranges I like.  Roll Eyes Grin

They look yummy...thanks for the movie, what an ending!  I have a feeling that there was some suggestive propaganda used in between the clips there...I'm in great need of an orange now.   Grin    happy1

I read somewhere that Asschers don't sparkle like the more faceted diamonds. Is that true?

Yes, in the sense that the sparkle pattern is quite different between step cuts and brilliant cuts. No in the sense that the optical properties of diamond are the same, no matter the cutting style.

I have a lovely .80 ct.  "E" white diamond that not only sparkles beautifully at the step facets...but it also shows off colors in the rainbow like a prism.  I find Asschers to be slightly more understated but way more intriguing than the brilliant cut diamonds...IMHO.   Wink

Oh, dear... Poor David!  He is so gullible.  Makes me think of dear, sweet Jack, who went into town with his widowed mother's cow and traded it for a handful of "magic beans."  I wonder what David traded for these "orange diamonds."  Doesn't he know that diamonds are supposed to be clear/transparent???  And shaped like kites???

How mean people are, to take advantage of a good soul like our Mr. Friedlander.  For shame!!!

Well, I, for one, feel as if I am duty-bound to help out, here.  I volunteer to take one or two of those orange "magic bean," supposed-diamond-wanna-be-s, off his hands.  Oh, heck... I can even take all of them!  I am feeling charitable.  Christmas spirit and all.  Ho, ho, ho.

The world is filled with such terrible confidence men!  Such mountebanks!  Such reprehensible chicanery!!!

Oh, ummm, and if I plant one of the little stones in the ground, do you think that it will grow a magical diamond beanstalk plant?

OH YES! Is this for me? My belated birthday present? Has my husband called you? Can you make it a 3/4 eternity from the uber factory?

Am I smoking crack?

Dunno. Whatever it is, please pass it along, Jen. It seems to be rather nice.

Let's get down to the brass tacks.

What are the sizes in millimeters and carats and the prices of these gorgeous sunsets?  Any matched sets?

I might just go live under a bridge to be able to wear these beauties!

Pretty sure it was 'discovered' by someone Scottish. If it wasn't, I'd be surprised. Grin

If I didn't lust for these myself, I'd say the Asscherness of this little set has Mrs. M written all over it (Scottish crack or not) and the group's orangyness screams Mr and Mrs  OMC. But then, I suppose, they'll "do" for any number of us without an orange Asscher band...  Roll Eyes
