Alright folks.  I have to call your attention to these darlings.

http://rockdiamond.c...p;action=show_detail

These darlings were mine for a little while but I traded them in for that doozy of a sapphire ring.  As it stands, I can attest to just how beautiful these babies are.  Like a little piece of lemon sunshine on your ears and a great size to boot.  I really wanted square radiants so that they would look perfect even if they spun on my ears as studs do.  One day I will have another pair: I started missing them as soon as I put them in the mail!

Oooooooh DJ I don`t think I could bear to part with those if they were mine  Cry
They`re a pair of stunners. Can we not have a forum whip round, buy them back and we`ll all share them ? I`m up for it  Grin

Nope, nothing on photobucket but I do have pics on the main PC.  If it wasn't 1.30am here, I'd go get them now.  I'm off to bed - I have to be up in less than 6 hours - urg!

I DEFINITELY had noticed these right away!!!  I have been going mad trying to pick a 6th anniversary/35th bday/baby gift/winner-of-a-silly-bet-prize, but everytime I fall in love with something, another fabulous piece pops up! I don't know why I am so non-committal right now.  Hormones?  ACK!!!

GL, I recommend these... but they would be so pretty with the DBY necklace with the 1 ct. radiant that you'd really need that, too....

I totally noticed them RIGHT away too.
They're so much like mine, but YELLOWER and a little LARGER! (mine are 1.25 ctw Y-Z color.) And I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine. So much so that when I traded them to CH to help acquire the lovely ChiChi, I had to beg for them back pretty much immediately!  Luckily, CH was SO kind to allow me to buy them back from her....WHEW!
I swear I wear them nearly every day.

I'd snap DJs up in a heartbeat and sell mine if I had any sense...hmmmmmmmmmmmm............
Check out the gallery for an ear shot of mine for comparison; stats are:

Shape   Cut Cornered Rectangular Modified Brilliant (Radiant)
Weight   2 diamonds=1.25 carats
Color   Y-Z
Clarity   VS1
Measurements Stone 1 (.63cts)   4.78 x 4.55 x 3.05mm
Measurements Stone 2 (.62cts)   4.69 X 4.50 x 3.07mm

Ok, I'm a newbie so I have to ask the dumb question.  What's "flur"?

Referring to Fluorescence. My earrings have a Medium Blue fluorescence, and I love the effect; just my personal preference. To really see it dramatically, you look at stones under a black light, (midnight bowling works great, ha!) but any stone with fluorescence will also affect how it looks in regular lighting also.
I know there are threads that members have posted pics of their stones under the black light and the glow is so COOL! There are all sorts of colors of flourescence for various stones and some stones have none at all.

ETA: And Mikla, that is SO not a dumb question!!  You ask away; we love all learning together about these glittering rocks!!  That's one of the main reasons I love this forum so much, I've learned TONS!

OKay here is an ear shot although not a good one - I took this when I first got the asschers which is why they are clean and the radiants are not!  Anyway, it gives you an idea.

Yup IHADP, I love the double prongs.  It just seems to add something to the stones.  It really accents the corners on radiants and I LOVE that!

They felt gigantic when I got them!  I remember being glad I was sitting down when I opened the box - so yellow, so sparkly and so glam!

The asschers are .71ctw G, VS if I remember correctly and they are both stunners!  Gorgeous, gorgeous!  THey made me real happy as it meant I had over 1ctw on each ear when I wore them with the yellows - perfect!
