Any sign of some new pairs, David?  Haven't seen any in a while and it's always great to see new ones!

DL, have you decided what to do with those step cut pears yet?  Those will haunt me to my dying day!   Grin

Thanks DJ- actually we've been pretty selfish with the new pairs- using almost all of them on rings we're making.
We do still have a few cool pairs to show....watch this space

DJ-I still am unsure what to do with my pear pair!!!

I usually get a feel for how to use a stone right away, but those are baffling me!  Initially I  was going to buy GL's asscher pair and use them to make earrings with the pear pair, but decided I couldn't have them on my ears, that would dirve me nuts trying to look at them all the time!   So I only know ring for sure Smiley  By the way they looked lovely with that scissors cut sapphire D had awhile back.

I am open to ideas, I may go nuts worrying about it  tongue3

What about a neglige pendant, with the two pears "falling down" as unequal length drops from a bar or circle?

This one below is not the best example, and doesn't use pears (probably too old for that) but it will serve.

Any pairs for earrings come your way recently?  I can wait, but . . . doesn't hurt to ask, right?

Oh David, these are VERY nice cushions!  I love cushion studs with the double prongs.  Do all cushions have an open culet?

Any chance of a pair a little larger (they don't have to be cushions but nonetheless something squarish)?  I have a pair of lovely .93 princess tcw studs from you already which I'd love to complement with another set or even three studs from you.

Yup Mikla--I can't tell you how many times my kids say "eewwww" when they are around us. You'd think they'd be immune to it after all these years. I told them once that I was starting to get a complex.  DD said to me: "Well Dad, think about it this way....what if it was YOUR parents?"

I immediately said ""EEEEWWWWWW!!!"  Then responded with: "Wait!, your Mom and I are way cooler than your grandparents".
DD rolled her eyes and said she had to end the discussion before she needed counseling for Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

Yeah, veerrry funny.  Roll Eyes

Yeah, my daughter says, "Eeeeewwww" too.  My husband is pretty great about showing his affection like that.

But I have to admit, when I think about my parents doing the same thing, I get the heebie jeebies!

I'm not sure I even saw that pink sapphire . . . it was picked up pretty quick, wasn't it?    didimiss

Regardless, the combo is VERY nice.  When do we get to see a pic of the finished ring?
