This is actually not a new design- but we've got some new folks making halos for us- the details are exquisite!
1) notice the lovely shaped prongs- I particularly love the four prong design- as opposed to a "v" on the point of the pear

2) the stones running down the side are a bit larger than most halo rings

3) the parts of the ring are all "rounded" no 90degree corners

(btw this is R3373 which will debut on the site as a ring soon)

Stay tuned for the split shank version

Can we see them both side-by-side, please? I rather suspect the two colours will be fantastic next to each other. Totally unwearable, but fantastic

Speaking of color combos- and this is not a halo, but it's also brand new- Honey and lemon, with a tri color ring

LOVE the side-by-side shot! And, where does the tsavorite hail from (yum, yum)? The sides on the honey and lemon are lovely... wish I had them for an EC that I'd like DBL to reset.

I'll take one of each, please!

Oh wow!  So very pretty all of them.  I cannot decide which I like best!

You really know how to make someone not know what kind of setting they'd like... they're all great!

I have to say I *really* like the prongs on the pear vs the V tip

+1 on the prongs, Squigs.

What rich colors!  I love that pear!  What a golden beauty!   But that tsavorite!  What a beautiful rich green, and that cut!  Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh my!

The tsav is exceptional! I love the halo design and it works particularly well with that stone.

The polish on the pear ring is exquisite too. Beautifully done.

I definitely prefer the four prongs to the v-prong at the nose. Also, I think the larger stones in the halo look fabulous. I've always liked that. Best of all, what I really like about these rings is the marvelous handcrafted look... everything appears kind of organic and rounded. Very soft. Nothing looks hard or machine stamped. I've been admiring the curvy split shank...

I love the pear with four prongs instead of the V also, but can you make a pear safely like that without a halo?  i'm guessing not huh.  what about 3 prong pear with no halo?  doable?  safe?

That tsavorite is absolutely stunning!  The split shank, halo, and claw prongs are perfect.  Are you going to be carrying more of these?

yeah Trink, some of you noticed my MIL's 1.54 fancy light yellow IF stone she bought went back on the site to get made into a ring.  well she fell in love with Namtan's ring and decided to go a completely different direction with her anniversary upgrade.  so now I've got David on the hunt for an apparently colorless 2ish ct pear.  i know, talk about a 360.
i'm especially excited, because once we find her stone and get started on her new ring we're going to recycle her old center stone into a pendant a'la: http://rockdiamond.c...-diamonds-micro-pave except without the DBTY.  we're debating on whether to make her round side stones into regular studs or have them halo set like her pendant.  oh man oh man, i love pink gold, i can't wait to get the project going.

Merci beaucoup, Monsieur. Now, what about that tsav? Is it going to be a DBL item? Or does it belong to someone already?

These all sound like such fun projects there!!!  I do agree that it is a total change from what she was doing but as long as she is happy who cares?  Grin

I can't wait to see some of the projects myself.  I'm still debating over that gray stone for a pendant.  I love the color but worried about the shape.  I might go out today to see different shapes to see if I like another on my neck better and go from there.

So cool!  I'm looking forward to seeing the stones you choose from, if you want share them on the forum.  It's so fun to feel like you're "helping" someone make a decision.

Hi David

The two new Halo Designs are so beautiful they are so feminine can they be made for any size/shape of diamond, what size are the diamonds in the halo they seem a little bigger than usual.

I just love what you and your designers come up with but it just make our job that much harder lol which one should I choose etc.... Just add it to my wish list, who knows.  Grin

Hello everybody!

The pear shape would need to have some protection to have this prong setup....
The rings can be made around virtually any size of shape stone
The diamonds on the halo are pretty much the same size as most that we use- the stones on the shnak of the Pear ring are a bit larger......I'll get the exact sizes Monday

The Tsavorite ring is already sold......

Well, due to its popularity, it appears you need to source more of them.   Grin
