The fourth stone is the 72ct round brown diamond featured earlier in this post, after the princess earrings.  That one will go into the ring. Smiley

Dear Sparkly:

Don't worry, I was just having fun with this thread!   Grin

If you needed the last stone to make your matched set, I wouldn't dare take it from you!  I have an OCD about things matching so I understand completely.  I just don't have a brown yet so if you are truly happy and done with your brown purchases for the moment, I'd like to take a look!

Best,

Wow!  So can we get a breakdown?  A pair of earrings, a ring (what style?), and what else?  Congrats!!

David explained that these are dark browns and as much light as possible should get to them.  Therefore, prong set halos in white gold for the princess cut earrings and pendant, at this point with smooth edges, not millgrain (sp?). Prongs maybe white or pink gold-David's call.

The ring will be made with the 72ct round.  But I'm having trouble picturing a round halo.  I keep seeing the earring jackets that are not flat or angled more than I would expect.  But then again, it could just be the enlarged picture is creating a distorted spatial relation as I had with Tweety Bird's close-up shots. I need to study the pictures in the semi-mounts to decide on a galley.

OH MY GOSH!  I just realized that's a two carat diamond.  I've never owned a one carat!  Ex-husband (who lives next door- and that's another story) eat your heart out!
I HAVE ARRIVED!  boobban

DJM:  Kiss

Hey, I've been VERY good lately!  Afterall, considering how many new browns have shown up around here, I've barely blinked as they've passed me by. One after another, after another, after another...  I only snagged one, or was it two?  No, just one.  The faint oval doesn't count.  It's too faint. AND, futhermore, I've let two of my very fav brown DBL stones that have been hanging around for awhile now, go to the setters without me... one even got sold. Maybe both? Cry

Yes, yes... considering how I feel about the browns (like I said, one simply can't have too many), I've shown remarkable control, if I do say so myself.  angel

I want to cry when I look at those yellow RBs!  They may be the most beautiful pair of diamonds I have ever seen!!!

That brown is so interesting.  What color gold would best compliment both the brown hues and the green?

Seriously, GL, could you get the top setting in better focus?  That design resembles the halo that my new princess browns may be set into.  Thanks. Smiley
