HI Everyone!! The GIA report has the following statement: The color of this stone changes temporarily when heated, or left in darkness for a period of time and is known in the trade as a "CHAMELEON" We just consulted with someone from GIA about this diamond. Pure Green ( without a modifying color such as yellow or gray) are extremely rare- even more so as a chameleon. To trigger the color change we'd need to keep the stone in darkness for a few days. After exposing it to light we'd see the change. Here's a new shot I took this afternoon....

How could the stone be set to enhance the greenish bluish color?  Mikla Good question! There's different schools of thought there. I find that putting pink diamonds next to a stone of this color may bring out the color .... But there's really not a lot of stones like this- so it's basically trial and error......
