I thought you said you needed to upgrade your small pendant to a larger one-this would be beautiful Smiley

For a ring I see this one with a halo or some nice half moon sides.

NO pendant!!!  It would be a waste of a knuckle-knocker!

And NO halo!!  It would be garish with a stone this size I think. 

Simple solitaire.  Low profile.  Single claws.  Solid platinum shank.

(slinks off to cry into her private school savings.  why oh why isn't kindergarten just a tad bit farther away??? Bawling Bawling Bawling)

The ONLY that gives me comfort knowing MANY have seen this diamond now, is that GL also feels my personal pain of wanting this.. It makes it easier to deal with...

This is my cushion it's about 8.5 X 8.0, with the halo about 12.5mm X 12mm.

Well, that is definitely one of my favorite settings!! 

If I were buying this one it would be my ER, not RHR, which I guess is why I am thinking solitaire.  However, that is not going to happen in the near future, so never mind me.

I love that setting too, but I think for a slightly smaller stone.

Oh, I figured out how I would set it!  I would send David back my half eternity band from him and have a shank made to match!!  Then just a low profile head with claws.  Sigh. 

OK, that is it!  The rest of my collection is up for grabs to make this possible.  Anyone interested, let me know!!
