Oh, I don't think my DH would leave me over a RING.

Another dog, yes.

A ring... he'd just be really, really irritated.

 Grin

--Robin

Believe me Robin, a dog is not even on the table!  That would be a far, far worse offense in my home as well.

Oh, hey, a new tactic ----

"Hey Honey, I bought a new puppy today!!!"
(allows roar to die down)
"Just kidding!  Just a new 2.5 ct  sapphire!!  Relieved, huh?!"

This is a variation on the strategy I used to get my last puppy, actually.

I told my DH I wanted a baby.

Then, after letting him fret for awhile about this alarming development, I agreed that I thought I could settle on a puppy... and by the way, would he like to see some pictures of the puppy I had in mind?   Evil Evil

LOL!   That congressman doesn't know who he is messing with!    I sure hope you get that ring in record time DJ!

GL and Robin............. unfortunately a dog or a baby would be welcomed in this house before another diamond would!

HI All,
We have nice pairs of 5 x 3mm which weigh about .66 per pair. These pairs are $189

Then we have 6 x 4mm pairs- like the ones with the 2.02 Emerald Cut - which are about 1.20ct per pair.
We have a few pairs at $349per pair....

david david david  I sent you a pm about these and another question! I'm thinking I need a pair of these bad boys!!!!!!!!!!! Set in rose gold! yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BigRed! I can't wait to see what you get!

David, what about a small halo ring like the east/west sapphire you posted above,

BUT.......... use one of those EC rubies with the halo in rose gold with pink diamonds, and then a white gold with white diamond shank.  O M G !!!!!!!!!!

Don;t you guys think the intensity of the ruby might serve to make the pink diamonds look...well, less pink?

Well.. I'm not a jeweler so I don't really know, but I DO know that gems will "pick up" the colors around them, so wouldn't the ruby color make them seem MORE pink??

My experience has been different DL- stones don't always "pick up" the colors of the stones they are set next to- sometimes it's the opposite entirely- the contrast makes the colors come out.....

LMAO!

I have to say, I do invision that ruby pink gold ring with white diamonds instead of pink.   I worry that the pink and the red of the ruby will look too fru-fru!    BUT with white diamonds..............NOW YOUR TALKIN!!
