It's so dainty and I love the shape of the pear. It wd certainly make for a really special gift.

LOL DH, the words Daussi Halo got my immediate attention too.

I'm thinking this might look very nice with my little bezel pear necklace (which is one of my all time favourite pieces). Mmmm.

Well, yes I do!

She's going to get a 1/3ct princess cut pendant. DH gave it to me on our first Christmas together so it's quite special, but it's yellow gold and I don't often wear it these days. 

Oh, and of course she will get to wear the studs that you gave her when she was born. I think 16 is about the right age to look after nice pieces and they really are lovely. I take them out of the safe to admire them most days LOL.

Still, she'll inherit my pear necklace one day and maybe it would be nice for her to have a ring to wear with it. I mean, I'd take care of it in the meantime, of course...

Ah2bqat, I did sleep.For 11.45 long, blissful hours. I think GL's gift of a book about how to get your baby to sleep was the most wonderful thing I ever saw. With the possible exception of this marquise.

Ok, can't stay away from this thread, can I?

I just wanted to say, I love the pattern of the facets. The soft white colour is really pretty too. It's a cream tint, antique white, rather than light yellow on my monitor. Just delightful.

I just realized that if I double left click on the little paperclip below the picutre, it opens up a GINORMOUS version of the picture.  That IS a pretty marquise, Miz M, and I see it as antique white more than yellow on my monitor, as well.
