I've said this before, but it bears repeating: Roger is a genius.

I don't think I could actually pick a favourite from that group, but if you forced me, I'd say the blue oval sapphire. OMG, it's stunning.

Oh, and if that tanzanite was mine? I'd put it in the most beautiful uber-necklace you ever saw. Halo, and diamonds all over the chain. It's glorious!

Amazing variety!  I second OMC's request for a group shot if you get a chance.

That tourmaline baguette is my favorite!

I like even numbers, sometimes
4200. I love that

R4200......hmmm
OK- let's talk spectacular Tsavorite. This particular piece is so well cut. It's all straight line yet, all curves at the same time....
The color of such depth combined with so much brilliant light- stunning.

Stones place of origin is Kenya
Stone has Not been Treated

4180 might not be that bad a bet either...

What a cool stone.

it was mined in Sri Lanka C1947- and was owned by Max Schuster- one of the most famous colored stone dealers for many years

Roger re-cut the stone.

Hard to capture...

ITEM #: R4180
Cushion Cut Sapphire, Loose

  WEIGHT: 3.61ct
  STONE TYPE: Sapphire
  SHAPE: Cushion Cut
  COLOR: Magenta
  MEASUREMENTS: 8.30 x 7.73 x 6.44 mm
  TOTAL DEPTH: 61.8%
  TABLE SIZE: 60.6%
  AGL REPORT #: CS 81065

Price: $11495

Roger is using AGL- he feels that it's a very good alternative to GIA for colored stones- AGTA no longer has a lab.

Did you hear that? A sort of dull thud?

That was me, falling over when I saw that pink cushion.

I want it so bad it hurts (also, it hurts because I hit the floor... Grin)

Sherry and the tsavorite really caught my eye right away.  The watermelon tourmaline is gorgeous too.  I like the others but those really stand out to me!

What a gorgeous display of cut and color. My eyes are watering. That pink purple sapphire is amazing. I love these. I, like OMC, want to see a photo of all of them together if you get that chance. oooolala

Just love that emerald cut chrome tourmaline - it's really calling to me.

And the watermelon tourmaline is like the chubby cousin of my lovely Roger Dery watermelon.

Is it greedy to want them all? I could wear a different colour every day..

Ruby, I LOVE your watermelon! Did you decide on a setting (if you're planning on setting it)?
