Hi Everyone!

This afternoon we had the great pleasure of a visit with Trinkette!

Together we looked at a lot of our stuff- but we also were treated to looking through 2 trays of gorgeous Daussi rings.
She picked out a few which we are considering for stock...I'll post some photos soon.....

THANK YOU FOR COMING TRINKETTE!

Oh David, I love this one!  I am a little biased though.  My ER is three colorless ECs, and I can't resist them.  I love the cut and corners on the center diamond, and the cut on the traps is so nice too .  .  . the stones are perfectly sized for each other.  I could go on and on about it!

This is going to make someone very happy!

Thanks guys!

T picked this guy out- which is a pretty cool looking ring- then proceeded to rip it up because she has a very sensitive eye.
The side diamonds are the same size- but they just don't match perfectly. 9 out of 10 people might not notice the slight difference in color- but it would drive T crazy.

I like ( but not love) this one.....

The center stone here is a 1.17 I/VVS1 GIA graded Cushion

Cool side view..

Hmmmm . . .  are you going to stock that oval/cushion ring?  I think the side stones may be a tad too wide for the center stone, IMHO.  I know many will like the wide side stones, however, because I've seen that done on other rings.  I do like the fact that it's a different style than you normally see, which will definitely get noticed.

We did not make any commitments.
We usually take a day or two to look stuff over before deciding on whether or not to stock it...

But i agree- the proportion is wrong to my eyes.
We won't stock that one..

I`m a fan of oval shaped diamonds but not this particluar one. In fact I prefer the one you already have on the site with the baguette setting.

Now this one....maybe a different story

Platinum, delicate looking split shank- and features a 1.25 D/VVS1 Cushion. GIA of course

D/VVS1?  Are you kidding me?  The setting itself and the stone on this one are absolutely fantastic.  I love the double shank and the fact that the stone looks squarish.  I vote yes, yes, yes!

By far the most...controversial ring is this one.

It's massive
12.4 x 9.3 x 5.05mm

Sounds like 54.3% depth percentage- that's why she has the spread of an Aircraft Carrier.....

Truly gorgeous ring to my eye. Trinkette thought it would be mistaken for glass due to it's immensity.

BUT- there's no GIA- it was called J/SI2 by EGL.

I don;t know that I want to offer a stone of this magnitude ( it would be $40k+) sans a GIA report....

And it might come back as a K or L I1...which I don't know if that GIA report would be a curse or a blessing.....

Man is Trinkette ever going to beat my butt when she finally gets back on line for speaking for her...

but in for a penny, in for a pound I suppose.....

She also kinda liked this one in person.

Regarding the "aircraft carrier"  Grin , my personal preference for that kind of price tag would be a whiter color graded by GIA even though that would mean a smaller stone for the price.  Also, the setting looks teeny-tiny with that stone set in it.  Perhaps a more substantial shank with a double claw (no halo) setting would be more appropriate for that large a stone.   dontknow

But, that pink diamond halo setting is definitely a winner!   th_AWA123112

Thanks for the wonderful Saturday afternoon diamond matinee, David!
