Hi Everyone!
Jewelry design is like pretty much every other type of design.
Most ideas are spawned after the designer was influenced by her/his experience of other designs they've seen.
A true "blank sheet of paper" design for something as commonly manufactured as a diamond ring is pretty rare.
That really applies to rings like R1340, or R2269

This is not that- but it does show that, until the design is actually realized in metal, you can't appreciate how different two rings may be although they are the "same" design.

Anyway, without further adieu- our "Uber" interpretation of the "three sided pave, three stone ring, with design details on the side" ring. (whew)

Stunning!  I've always liked that original one on the DBL website.  I might lose the milgrain though on the new one, if I were to order this style.  Is this going into stock or was this ring ordered by someone?  The stones are amazing.  Specs, please!   Evil

I think it´s a beautiful ring, but if it were mine (yeah, right... in my dreams) I´d do it without the side details. I think the open window on the pavillion is beautiful enough without the added decorations... the three sided pave is beautiful though.
And the arrangement on the 3 diamonds is just magnificent. they look like they were made to be together!!

The uber guys have outdone themselves!  What a stunner.  But I'm with you, Mikla.  Were I so lucky as to be able to buy this ring, I'd have left off the milgrain - but that's just me.  I can flatten metal with a single look.   Roll Eyes

Oh very pretty!  I'd love to see a big beautiful blue sapphire in a setting like that too!

That defines uber for sure. Sorry I have no umlaut for the u. That ring needs the umlaut. Gorgeous. Simply divine.
