Yes, it was a tough decision, but a client needed the diamond loose for some reason, and we obliged.

I think we'll be able to come up with a suitable substitution in fairly short order.
I would think that even a light yellow will look great in here.......

Not intense yellows, but I wonder if R2690, R2453, or R1945 would fit?  They are an 1.85ct EC faint yellow W-X, a 2.06ct EC warm-colored M, and a 2.04ct Rad faint yellow S-T, respectively.   Though, the warm M may fare better with a pink gold setting like R2620 to bring out any pinky-peachy tones.  Am curious to see what yellow gold does to it...I love a good mystery!

I thought of a sapphire but the prongs are yellow gold. So a light yellow? Or a ruby, maybe?
