I like #3 the best - I'm kind of stuck on the color contrast between the yellow and pink, probably because of the ring in my avatar.

Stone 1 is my favorite out of the group, but the corners are so strong that I think it might look best with step cut traps or bullets...

That said, I suppose I vote #3...  but #1 still had my heart at hello.

Guys, you're being waaay too nice to me!!!!
Plus, I really don't want to get beat up by anyone's hubbie!

I love them all too....but let me ask you guys....are you thinking about what the price of the ring might be?

My thought was that we'd want to make this a ring that would sell for less than $5k.

Do you guys think it's a ring that should be in the $10,000 range.....

Ooo.  I hadn't even thought of that (such is the curse of a diamond addict - price is the last consideration!!!).  Yeah, I would imagine it would be best to keep this under $5k - especially as it is kind of a trial piece.  Given that point, I would be more inclined to vote for #4.

I am just really afraid that if the color is not bold enough it will not sell no matter what the price.  I still vote for #1 or #3, but then I am also just really partial to shapes that are more square than rectangular.

I still love that cushion!  I just love the shape and the color...  But, I am in the minority here.  I cannot wait to see what you decide David  Smiley

I have re considered my vote: After thinking about the price of the finished ring, I think I'll switch my vote to the cushion.

Price...yeah....gosh.....that is an issue I suppose.  Maybe the cushion is the way to go...or the radiant about it.  Although I still love the shape of number 1 the best...

Dang it! Why does price always have to be a factor!!

I think the Fancy yellow color would look better with the pinks, but if you're looking for a ring under 5K, then my vote would be #1. I don't think the color is quite as pretty.......but it'd still be a pretty color combo & I love those SIDES on #1!!!

I can vouch for fancy yellow w/ fancy pink combo, as I have a small ring that has a gia fancy yellow center with two small fancy pink sides.  I think that a ring that is under 5k is a very attractive price tag and would fit into more budgets.  I think if you have a lighter yellow, maybe try to match it up with slightly paler pinks for the halo but put the pinks in pink gold?

I think #1 or #3.  I love the depth of color.  However, given that the setting will bring out the color in all of these diamonds, the cushion might be a more attractive option price-wise.

Ok this is a bad photo - lack of my photo skills and quality in a camera when this one was taken.  Plus the ring was dirty :p  Don't mind the other ring in the photo too please. But at least you get the idea Smiley

Sounds cute Azsparkle!  Is there a pic somewhere? I must have missed it.  I think it would be cute to have a halo of some sort around it.  Depending on how saturated a pink it is, I would put a white halo if the stone is paler and maybe a yellow one if the pink is more pronounced.  Or you could always find 2 small baguettes or emerald cuts and make it a cute 3 stone.  Or maybe even a small 3 stone w/ halo ring? I.E. get some small yellow sides and do a white tiny melee halo?

Ooh, a 3 stone halo would be so cute and make the stone and ring look bigger.  Do you have the dimensions of your pink?  I think a halo would be doable if you used tiny mellee - i.e. half pointers or slightly smaller.
