I must admit I`ve just used the best jewellery cleaner I`ve ever found. It even cleans pearls, costume jewellery and all of the softer gemstones. It`s made from coconut and banana oil, you soak your stuff for a few seconds or in the case of glued in jewellery just spritz it with the cleaner and then rinse and buff.  For very dirty areas you can dip a brush into the mixture and rub. Great stuff and who`d have thought coconut and banana oil would work plus it smells like a Tropical cocktail lol.
I bought it online and had grave doubts whether it would work but it surely does and it`s completely safe for you and your jewellery.
