To me, all diamonds are gorgeous! Even though I am a fan of yellow, I own only one yellow clothing item and that is a pair of flannel jammies with white sheep on them, lol. radiant

LOL, my yellow item is jammies too, but these have baby blue stars...
My daughter has a passionate hate for yellow. Even as an infant, she would howl and try to take off any yellow clothing. The only thing she thinks looks good yellow, are infact, diamonds, and lighter ones at that.

Funny, I feel much the same way about pink. Pink belongs with gold or diamonds, not much else.

Poor Yellow! I'm afraid it does get a bum rap sometimes.  I remember one particular article about how various colors affect our emotions, etc., (you know, green is good for a working environment, blues/violets for relaxing, red for dining...). Anyway, this particular study determined that yellow, more than any other color, made babies cry.  Hence, the recomendation was NOT to paint an infant's room yellow (as many of us do, figuring it is "neutral" between classic pink and blue). Evilmailjeep, I have heard about another child who did just as your daughter did... and the color was yellow!  dontknow

You are all putting poor yellow down.  You should have gone to my school, brown uniform with a brown and yellow striped tie (very British) a brown hat with a yellow bishopīs mitre and our gym outfit was all in yellow.  I have only lately worn a bit of brown but I have come to the conclusion that the yellow I HATE is  mustard colour, lemony yellow is fine and really when you think about it yellow diamonds are lemony yellow arenīt they?

Oh dear, what dreary uniforms!  Huh? Yes, I'm afraid that mustard yellow is at the very bottom of my list.  Although, for many women, this very sophisticated color is absolutely stunning. Personally, I'm a banana yellow fan. Actually, now that I think about it, I DID have yellow in my last house; we painted our kitchen cabinets a very soft, pale, creamy, butter color. People RAVED about the color... Huh! I stand corrected. busted

I will have to agree that mustard yellow is not my fav, but there are not too many yellow diamonds that I would turn down if forced upon me Grin

Although I don't wear yellow clothes, it don't think I have ever seen a yellow diamond I didn't like! My first yellows were those killer light yellow DBL earrings. They are so soft and light and I just love them! Then my pear! The yellow is like liquid gold and I find myself staring at it often and loving it! Oh wait I did wear a neon yellow bikini before. Looks killer with a tan! SHUT UP!!! It was in the 80's! LOL

Actually, now that I think of it, I too, had a traumatic yellow-skirt experience as a girl. It was a little cotton skirt with checked gingham pockets that I'd made in Home Economics class (my age becomes apparent here). And, well, er, uh... let's just say that I didn't know that it was "that time of the month" until AFTER classes in school, and AFTER I'd walked the half-a-mile home.  I had to toss the skirt after that, and worst of all, naturally, I had to face my peers at school the next day... I was truely mortified! Cry

Okay.  That is just plain awful.  What a nightmare Trinkette!  I'd have insisted that my parents transfer me to a new school....................
