Hello all!  I've been looking a jewelry and natural colored diamond suppliers for a few months.  Been lurking here for about a week or so and decided to chime in.  This is by far the best website I've come across.  I like the homey open honest style of it!  I love diamonds, and gemstones, heck all jewelry really!  Got a special obsession with pink hearts at the moment.  Totally jealous of whoever bought this beauty..

http://rockdiamond.c...a-work-for-you-r3728

.. it's perfect for me and exactly my (our Wink ) price range for my ER.  So David, when the time is right (probably 6 mos to a year away) how long do you think you'd need to source a pink beauty like that one in that ballpark (really thinking no more than 15K for the stone and setting or he may need resuscitated every time we try to enter the transaction!)  I actually adore the halo setting too..

The other ring of my dreams I would love to recreate is one currently offered by Graff.  It's a pink and blue hearts ring with a cross-over setting in yellow and white gold.  Took my breath away that one!  Love the symbolism of boy/girl pink/blue combo in hearts and it's sooo stunningly gorgeous.  Probably not in my price range unless I went with really small stones or sapphires instead of diamonds..but I do favor and want the sparkle and intensity of diamonds I have yet to see in a sapphire for my ER (correct and inform me if I'm wrong!).

Thanx   in advance for any help and advice!!

Welcome CCF (latine loqui coacta es?)

Intensity sapphire beats most diamonds 10-1. Sparkle, now, that is another matter. But for the price of an intense blue and intense pink you can buy quite a few sapphires...

Have you seen this one, BTW?

I have seen and bookmarked that one  Wink

Colors are spot on...

Shape (while I love trilliant) is beautiful but I've got my heart set on heart(s)..

Size.. a tad on the small size although I realize I'd be getting both my most loved colors..
I go back and forth trying to decide on two smaller stones in both colors or one larger stone in one color.. although I love stones in .72ish to 1 carat ranges for my price range.  I think if I had to compromise on stones, I'd love a larger pink center with a halo setting and maybe two smaller blues in the band symmetrically placed on either side or maybe a melee of blue hearts for the halo.. something like that..  ooo I kinda like that idea  hmmmmm

Welcome, CCF!  You're in good company here - there are quite a few heart lovers here.  I didn't know that someone bought the pink heart halo  Sad.  Oh well, I'm sure something else will come along.  Your first DBL purchase will be exciting!

Just not TOO early!  David and his factory elves can do almost anything, but sometimes a stone is just too unique to replace, especially in the pink and blue colors.

At any rate,  welcome CCF!  Come share your dreams and bon mots with us!
