djm-you make it sound so horrible to be pushed up against a beautiful half naked woman for an extended period of time  Grin  I'm not sure if you'd get too many men complaining about that!

What i meant was i posted some pics before and they were removed because my belt was undone. I didnt realise that they were that stringent in the states.

I didnt mean to be bowled over or anything as such by my pics. Titania you probably see this all the time so no biggie Grin Wink

Looks like real hard work Pip.  How you must suffer LOL.
Joia

The dieting aint good, neither is having a limited social life (ie no drinking etc) and being on restricted calories and next to no carbs...nightmare Joia for someone who loves their food. So yeah it can be a pain TBH. As nice and sensual as the pic conveys its nothing like that...clinical would be the best way to describe it.

To maintain that condition year round is nigh on impossible. I went from 231lbs @ 12-13% bodyfat (normal weight) down to 205lbs @ 9-10% bodyfat. Ppl arent nice when they are dieting, irritable to say the least..

Yeah, it wouldn't be bad if four thousand people weren't standing around evaluating you. Pip said it perfectly--it is very CLINICAL.

(and you guys think you suffer from shrinkage because your diamonds look small....)

Woah.... very provactive pic indeed!   Actually,  I am envious that both you and DJM modeled.  I think that is the highest compliment to be able to model.  YOur physic/image must be in "stellar" condition.....so I imagine it really is hard work to keep up on that.   Also, if you  have regular work/contracts in modeling...........you must be very good at what you do.   Too many people out there that think they can model....and, Can't.    Just like there are too many hairdressers that think they can cut hair,....but they can't!

Wish my A** looked as if it suffered from shrinkage. I look at it everyday but it just seems to get bigger. How come shrinkage only seems to apply to diamonds ?

Diamonds are like people, put them under a microscope and you`ll always see a flaw but hold them up to the Sun and each and every one is beautiful.

Very true, get those very people up there and they will crumble. I feel a complete dork when the photographer asks me to be alluring or seductive for the camera, i still do to this day. I just be me instead lol!!

Pip -- you and your partner look fabulous - terrific photos, and yes, we in the USA are far too puritanical when it comes to the human body, beautifully portrayed or no.
However, we think nothing of gross innuendo on TV which is just so bad for our children.

Titania

Woah....   Your physic/image must be in "stellar" condition

I just saw this Ronda and I got to say, my body never looked like Pips--not ever! (Think early eighties euro-slim). If Pip and I were represented by the same agency, we would never see each other on a shoot. I would get jobs because they wanted to see clothes on me, Pip gets jobs because they want to see him with his clothes off--LOL! I gotta tell you, the client would pick apart any imperfection you have as if you weren't even in the room. I never took it too seriously, but there was always one model reduced to tears. I remember one ad (now I'll really date myself) for a instamatic point-and-shoot polaroid camera. They had me bring the camera up to my left eye and close my right eye as if I was taking a picture. It was a close up head and arm shot. They put me in a black knit long sleeve V-neck sweater (about three sizes too small).  The photographer sets up the shot, returns back to his camera and looks through his view finder. He tells me to relax and asks the client to take a look. Apparently, they did not like my hands. The fat pad on my right index finger wasn't big enough and that was the finger that was on the camera button.  Roll Eyes So... instead of cancelling the shoot and finding another model they postpone it until the afternoon. They call the modeling agency and ask them to send over a hand model--yup, a hand model! The stylist has to scramble all morning and shop for an identical black longsleeve sweater for the other guy. So here's how they set up the shot--they have the other guy stand behind me with the camera up to my eye so it looks like his hands are mine!! Here's the clincher--the hand model got paid more than I did ( I don't know how I found that out because I never talked to anyone about their rate). I think it had to do with the "short notice" part. Oh well, it was a paycheck!!
And BTW, I'm still in counselling and learning to deal with my atrophied finger fat pads. I have participated in a support group for over 25 years now and they have been instrumental in helping me get this out in the open. I know I have years more counseling to go, but I am determined to beat this. Your prayers are appreciated. Cry
