Hi all,

Love the posts since I am a fellow diamond lover. I am in love with DBL: Three Stone Diamond Ring 1.36ct D color Awesome Emerald Cut Diamond GIA Dramatic Trapezoid Ring R2574

But I am concerned that the feathers are really visible to the naked eye. Also-  I don't think that my sig other will be able to afford it. But I still like to visit it online Smiley

HI SapphireSparkles, welcome!

It's a nice stone, isn't it? I don't think you'd see the feathers at all. The grading inclusion is a crystal, and that is invisible (I had to look up on the diagram to find it). The feathers should be even less visible; a lot of what you are seeing in the photos is dust! Also consider that the photos are magnified between 25x and 40x on a 15" screen - possibly more if you have a 17 or 19 inch screen.

Thanks for the insight!!  I've been looking at all the pics and it looked pretty visible.

Now I love it even more Smiley

Thanks OMC!
Welcome Sapphiresparkles!
OMC is correct- the stone is eye clean.

PS- we just put together similar set to show someone using the 1.21 G/SI2

here's the photo showing the 1.21ct along with .48ct step cut trapezoids- a similar look for about 25% less money

You'll find that David puts it all in your face because he stands on the darn diamond to take the photo. When I've seen them in person, inclusions that look giant online are not all that noticeable to the naked eye.

I do remember we had a "booger" diamond. The radiant cut had what looked like a giant black spot that could be seen from across the street. When I went up to NY and opened the parcel paper, I had no idea that I was looking at the 'booger diamond'. Then David got a call and asked for a diamond with the number on that paper and then I realized, "this is the booger diamond?" From then on, I decided I would not ever discount an I1 diamond from DBL.

By the way, welcome to the forum and thanks for joining in.

We were posting at the same time. I LOVE that layout! Traps are my fave. Of course everyone here knows how I love emerald cuts. I'm an absolute sucker for them.

D- Is that this diamond? http://rockdiamond.c...-four-step-top-r3185

I agree - the traps are really unique and make the ring stand out.

Love the 1.36 D color but my girlfriend thinks that it is too expensive for our budget. We need to buy two engagement rings.

Love yellow diamonds also. Found a yellow with a halo in Chinatown (nyc) but the store moved it to another location and lost it.

Love DBL!!

WAIT...we can get you out of those places in Chinatown.

if you want hot and sour soup, that's the place to go.
If you want a ring, we are a far better place to come in Manhattan!

We can make pretty much any ring you've seen elsewhere.....

Like the G/Si2, which is a bit less than the 1.36, many of our designs can be ordered with smaller stones to keep the budget in check.....
