Hi there everyone!!  Daniel here from El Paso, Texas.  I would say about 2 months ago, for reasons still unknown to me, I decided that colorless diamonds were too "yesterday" for my wife and started researching fancy colored diamonds.  Well, as I am sure you all can agree, the rest is history.  I won't say I will never again purchase a colorless diamond for my wife, but the chances do not look good.

Anyway, during my research, I fell upon DBL and this message board, and after a week or two of lurking, thought I would introduce myself.  You all seem extremely wonderful and helpful, and I am very pleased to meet each and every one of you.

So, you'll have to tell us about what you've got your eye on for your DW.  And what about you?  Men can wear diamonds, too.  I followed DBL on eBay for a few years before finding this forum, then lurked for a bit before I joined.  This can be a fun place to be.  We all love diamonds here.  Welcome again and glad you could join us.

My wife's favorite color is yellow, so she is quite taken with yellow diamonds.  As for me, when I first started looking, I was enamoured with blue.  However, and with all due respect to the very pretty "Lil' Bloo", I think I am now an orange diamond lover.  While I have not actually seen an orange diamond in the sunlight in person, I can only imagine the true fire and brilliance that such a stone would produce.

First time I saw an orange diamond in person was in the DBL office. I can't begin to tell you how much I love orange diamonds now. Not something you see everyday!
