I'm new here, and may have posted my initial question in the wrong place. (It's in "Ask Questions about the Jewelry we offer" or some such thing, but after posting, I saw that there weren't many threads there.
I joined because our tenth wedding anniversary is coming up, I would like a new piece of jewelry, am maybe-possibly considering the 1.13 Asscher with pink diamond halo as a right hand ring, but am concerned about its height off the finger (not sure whether that would bother me).
Um, other stuff about me:
-- I am a college English instructor
-- We have four dogs (all of herding breeds) with whom I compete in agility
-- My other hobby is scrapbooking
-- I live in Texas
-- My engagement ring is a .96 radiant with trilliant sides, set in yellow gold (with platinum prongs for the center stone). I also wear a band of princess-cut diamonds channel set in yellow gold (got that last year). So I like rectangular and square diamonds! I'm sure that's why this Asscher cut appeals!
