Awww I love what you said about imperfections.  One of my friends refers to hers as a freckle saying that it adds personality to the stone.  So I love your thoughts on it as well. 

I am really happy for the both of you! 

Oh and we had a boring proposal here as well.  But the talks we had after meant the world to me as well.  We've been together since our first year of college (almost 15 years now and married over 10) so I wish you guys all the best!

Everyone sceamed and was shocked that I pick such a blingy ring!!!! Everyone comments on how unique the ring is ! And thats why I this ring! I have never seen an ER like this on anyone before. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RING!!!!!!!!!!

AND We are going to elope in Paris is the plan so far.

Maybe during the summer I thought it could be unique to stage an "ENGAGEMENT PARTY"  Soomewhere by a lake outdoors and SURPRISE everyone with a lil ceremony. Have a live band beautful food Simple flowers and enjoy the sunset. Im not one for a lot of attention so I thought a surprise would be fun. What cha think?

I think you have a stunner there and I am so glad people are loving it too!

Eloping in Paris sounds so lovely.  I had a very small wedding and sometimes I wish it were even less.  I don't do center of attention well myself.  However, I do wish we could've had more of a party atmosphere for the reception now that I look back.  It was very stuffy and formal.  I did it to please the in-laws.  Looking back that was a bad idea.

So do what speaks to you!  You'll be happier in the long run Smiley

Too blingy a ring?  Can there be such a thing? That sort of comment must come from someone who doesn't have such a special  sparkler.  Tell 'em it's your special ornament that came with a Christmas tree and string of lights attached. (I think you caught both the warmth and the light of the season and the E-event in your latest pix, CG.) 

If you love it, and your guy loves that you love it, then it's the exactly right ring for you.  So there, Nah!
