Just wanted to say hi to everyone! 
A year ago I couldn't care less about a diamond.... I never thought I would want one or own one!  Ha
My father introduced me to DBL and fancy colored diamonds and learning and looking has become a slight obsession! 

I am quite fascinated by fancy diamonds and enjoying learning about diamonds and other gemstones.  So many people here have a great knowledge base and I hope to soak up as much as I can!

Welcome, FlyingDiamonds.  You're in good company here.  I too, didn't care much about diamonds until I became engaged.  I love the fancies and the beautiful creations of David and the Uber factory.  And, to answer your question in another thread, I'm sure David would be happy to meet with you to show you stones/jewelry in person.  Bring your checkbook!  You won't be dissappointed.

Hi FlyingDiamonds,  Welcome to CDI and the world of colored diamonds...careful though, it is addicting.   Wink  I think it's so cool that your father told you about DBL.  It's only been a few months since I found my way here...and it has been more than a slight obsession for me ever since!   Roll Eyes

I'm waiting for that little brown truck to arrive this morning to deliver my second DBL diamond bezeled stacker ring.  The first one is a .71 fy oval diamond and this one is a white Daussi cushion (they typically have larger facets and are so unique, IMO), it weighs  in at .76ct.  I can't wait to see them together!   The obsession part, is all the other projects that are spinning in my mind... Grin

So, good luck in your "flying" over to NYC to "diamonds" shop at DBL...maybe I'll see you there too!

Sounds like an exciting delivery! 
I just discovered the Daussi cut and I have to agree it too love it!  I found a few i liked on the DBL site but of course they were sold! Maybe one is yours.  If i make it to the get together in Oct i hope to see a few more of these Daussi cut stones and maybe buy one.  The size you got sounds perfect....
