I have started a few threads, I didnt know I was "lurking" sorry!

well I love dbl!!! I have just started collecting vintage/antique bridal sets (anything vintage/antique rocks my boat)- beginning with a chrissy pressie from my bf which is a 1930's white gold diamond bridal set. very cute.
I also want to invest in Aussie rough- sapphires, kunzite and other semi's.
I hope to purchase my first dbl ring for myself or as an engagement ring.. as my bf said--

"Dont you want something new??" I spose I do.. I dont think (as I said on another thread) that I could buy a diamond from another internet seller... prime example follows..

I read - this is a shocker- some sellers GLUE two diamonds together to make a big one!

well hello all!! its nice to learn more about diamonds.. I am, as of yet, still feeling things out.. Im a very enviro sorta gal- vegan and I work with my hands making bridal veils and tiaras from fine antique lace and gold/silver wire! very feminine! heart2

Hey, frea, WHERE were you a few months ago? Before my wedding in Feb, I was looking for that sort of thing! It sounds like you have a wonderfully creative talent. Glad to have you on board! laugh
