I stumbled across this site today and have spent over an hour drooling over tiaras. I am deployed and out sick with a cold. So nothing to do in my quarters but peruse the net. I think I am feeling better now! I cant wait to see the next postings.....I am here all deployment folks! Ha ha ha!!

Thank you everyone. Yes I feel better and I am back at work. We had carrolers come to the compound yesterday. They were mostly British and so very charming! I go on leave in 12 days so things are looking very good! Thanks again!

Exactly this.  I'm sure you'll be happy to be on leave!  Four of my family members managed to get back here for just after the holidays as well!

I haven't seen that documentary...looks like the search is on!

We used the MRAP as a back drop for Christmas photos. It went off very well. Our neighbors could see over the walls from their second story billeting, so they came over and we told them to bring everyone. Our "Santa" was out there for 4 hours taking pictures with soldiers sitting on his lap!  Grin

Christmas dinner was fantastic. All that was missing was my sisters giblet gravy, no worries I will get it when I go home on leave in 7 days. YEAHHHH!!!!!!

Yay!!! My baby cousin came home from boot camp 3 days ago for leave. She leaves again on Monday but she will be doing her final PT test and graduating soon. We are so, so proud of her.

hi ladies! Thanks so much for the interest and kind thoughts.

I am back at work now, and wistfully thinking of a fantastic trip home.

It was GREAT. I did all I wanted to do and then some.

I was a girl, wore makeup and pretty high heeled boots. And then one weekend I went four wheeling with my best friend and her husband and got nast dirty muddy.

My best Christas gift was TWO tiara books....that I gifted myself. LOL!

The only minor blip in the trip was a minor allergy attack. I am just no longer used to Texas pollen and spores like I used to be. So  quick trip to the ER to get a benedryl shot and I was good to go. I got my hair cut and took a photo to show my sis. Then a few hours later my face was on FIRE! I think it was cats Although I have NEVER been allergic to anythig before now.

So enjoy the pics, and thanks again and again for all your kind thoguhts.
