 Wave Hi!
I have been reading these threads for the past two nights and have been ROTFLOL.
 
OMC I love your collection and thanks for sharing and giving the story behind each item.

I have been fascinated with sparklies since I was eleven years old and have preferred colored gems.  However, that collection is complete, and now the colored diamonds have my attention.  I did not know that colored diamonds existed until I saw them in a GIA extension course (I was a Certified Specialist in Transfusion Medicine; how was I supposed to know?! Huh?)

I have seen very few colored diamonds, and I am driving David crazy because of the different lighting he uses doesn't help me with my obsession of 'color matching' stones.  I've purchase two pair of yellow studs trying to match a necklace, and I'm complaining to him because they are not 'yellow enough'.  I'm certain he is not accustomed to any complaints or criticism as his work and stones are beautiful.  I promise, I will try to be better. Embarrassed

I look forward to joining in the conversations and fun, and sharing the oohs and ahhs of everyones' goodies and the stones David shares with us.

PS  Last night, I came across a thread that had a parcel of purplish pink diamonds, that had just come in.  I can't find it; was that a recent entry?

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I have an older digital camera, FujiFilm FinePix1400Zoom,3X optical zoom, 1.3 mega pixels, and have rarely used it.  I need all the suggestions you can offer to help me photograph my stuff.

When I had my jewelry appraised for the not so long ago divorce, the jeweler placed photos on a CD.  Are there directions listed here for uploading from a CD?

Of course you realize, I didn't have a jeweler with the skills of David; so I will be frequently referring to items as BD, before David. Smiley

I found directions on uploading the pictures.  I need to retrieve the CD from the safety deposit box.  (Isn't that a hoot?  Jewelry in the home; pictures in the bank vault!   Grin)

Hi Sparkly-OCD! I'm glad to see that you've joined the fun.  I am sorry, though, to hear about your not-so-long-ago-divorce. Hopefully, your future will be brighter and brighter (ummm, should I have written sparklier and sparklier?)  Anyway, I see that, already, you are off to a fabulous sparkly start... congratulations on your new DBL purchases.
